Celeste's POV
Well. Coming out to some random people who I had met just yesterday was easier than coming out to my mom, I thought to myself. Andy and I stepped out of the room. She turned to me,
"I didn't know you were bi!" She said, looking surprised. I shrugged.
"It's not really a look if you get what I mean. I'd have to tell someone for them to know." I explained."Well, I think that's awesome. I support you all the way!" Andy smiled at me. She had a pretty smile.
"Thanks haha. My mom sadly didn't have the same reaction as you. She scolded me-" I laughed weakly. Andy frowned."I'm sorry to hear that. Coming out can be difficult." She comforted me.
"Yeah, but it's over now!" I said, smiling again. She smiled back.
There was another pause, that was interrupted with the sounds of loud groaning coming from the bathroom down the hall. We both rolled our eyes again. We walked towards the bathroom slowly.
"Omg.. Elvio..!!" We could hear.We both giggled to ourselves.
"Yes baby-!"
Andy's POV
We both covered our mouths trying not to laugh too loud. We ran down the stairs before we heard anything else. We both were still in our outfits from the start of the day.
Celeste was wearing a black jumper and jeans and I was wearing a dark red cropped top and black sweat pants. We both sat down in seats in front of the stage.
"Hey, how did you figure out you were bisexual, by the way?" I asked her.
"Why? Are you questioning?" She looked at me.
"I- I'm not sure really." I answered, looking at the stage, awkwardly."Ah, that's understandable. It took me 3 years to come to terms with my own sexuality. All I needed to confirm I wasn't just into guys was to just become interesting in a girl, really." She said, looking at the stage too. She seemed to matter-of-fact about it.
"But.. having feelings for a girl, does that feel different to having feelings for a guy?" I asked her.
She cocked her head to the side.
"Personally, id say yeah. But that's if you are sexually attracted to someone, because you KNOW what type of sex you'd have with a guy and a girl. Romantically, feels kind of the same for me. I have a preference to women myself, so I'll find myself falling for girls harder." She explained. I stayed silent, taking this in."I- sorry, I'm rambling. Scratch all that." She said, looking at me, stuttering kind of.
"No no! That helped me understand it more."
I told her.
"Thank goodness haha!"There was a silence again.
"What if you don't fall in love with what they look like? I've heard about that. Like, the personality." I asked. She lit up.
"That's called pansexuality or being panromantic. It means you fall for their personality, to put it in simple terms. Not just looks or not looks at all." She explained.
"Right."
She smiled.
"I like helping people understand themselves better." Celeste said happily. Then she checked her watch."We should probably get back to our rooms now." She said.
"Yes." I agreed and we made our way back upstairs, past the bathroom that Elvio and Henley were still screaming in.I slept on the bottom bunk, while Celeste slept on the top bunk, and Jazzie slept on the top bunk of Henley's. Jazzie snored very loudly, and so did Henley but I put my headphones on to block out the noise. I closed my eyes.
