Prologue

Prologue:

Its Mandy's first day of working after graduating from university. She applied for the Moore Enterprises Inc. Since, she graduated. It was her dream company. She worked her ass off during college just so that she could graduate at the top of her class. A lot of people will kill just to enter Moore Enterprises. One of the most influential and richest company in world with a Market Value of $750 Billion its one of the fastest growing companies despite its young age. It was only founded 10 years ago, and it already made its mark in the world. Many woke early because she doesn't want to be late on her first day. The saying "First impression always lasts" is so ingrained in her brained that she does not want to leave any negative impression on her boss. Especially because she will be working directly under the CEO and Founder of the company. The Brad Moore. Honestly speaking, she did not have an ounce of sleep because of overthinking. One of thing about Mandy is that she overthinks everything. When I everything, I mean Every single thing. That is why she has her friends to bring her to reality.

"Mandy! I already prepared breakfast! I must leave early because no one will open the restaurant." Margaux yelled while opening Mandy's room.

"Thank you, Margaux. You're a life saver." Mandy replied while turning to look at Margaux.

Margaux decided to leave first and went t o her restaurant. Mandy was already dressed and just finishing her make up. Once she was done. She immediately went down to eat the breakfast that Margaux prepared. While Mandy was eating her breakfast, she booked an Uber so that she can immediately leave after eating.

As soon as Mandy was done eating her Uber immediately arrived after 5 minutes. She went to grab her Bag and things and went on her way to the company. While inside her uber her thoughts immediately wandered what could happen today. Will she meet some mean girls at work like what she sees on every television show on the planet? Will she meet new friends? Will she fit in? Is her boss gonna be mean and be straight up asshole? A lot of worries and anxiety flooded her system. Her palms started sweating, so she wiped it on her pencil skirt.

It wasn't a very long Uber ride to the company. It was just a quick 15 – 20 minute ride. Mandy paid her uber driver made sure that all of her things are with her before stepping outside of the vehicle.

She stood up for 5 minutes outside of the Moore Enterprises Building. Thinking 'This is it'.

Since she still has 20 minutes spare time she first grabbed a cup of coffee on the Starbucks on the building beside her company. While in line to get her coffee she felt a presence on her back. Since she does not like going outside she is sometimes very oblivious to her surroundings. She did not notice that everyone in the coffee shop became so silent. She kept on biting her lip which is an unconscious behavior every time she is anxious or worried.

Once her name was called she immediately grabbed her coffee and while turning around she noticed the tall man exuding a palpating sex appeal. The man screams danger and sexy which she felt it. Especially between her thighs.

'Damn! Did I just lusted after a stranger 7:40 AM in the morning?' Mandy thought to herself. Mentally slapping herself. She unconsciously bit her lips harder. Then walked faster to go to the company.

As soon as she entered the company, she let out a sigh of relief.

"Safe, at last" She whispered to herself then proceeded to go to the HR office for the quick briefing. She immediately, walked towards where the elevators are located and pressed the button going up. She was tapping her high heels while waiting for the elevator. She noticed someone stood beside her and noticed it was the same man on the coffee shop. She felt the pleasant feeling between her thighs again.

"Ughh, not again what the fuck is wrong with me" She whispered yelled to herself.

"I'm sorry, are you okay Miss?" The man beside her asked with the sexiest voice she heard that made her heart palpitate and that made her pussy clenched pleasantly.

"I'm okay sir. Thank you." She replied without making eye contact. It was the longest 5 minutes of Mandy's life. In order to save herself from the situation she started blocking out everyone. As soon as the elevators opened, she immediately hopped on and so does the mysterious sexy man. As soon as the elevator doors closed she noticed that the man kept looking at her. In fact his eyes never left her.

"I'm sorry, its my first day here. I'll be Mr. Moore's new Secretary." She explained to the mysterious man.

"Are you now?" A mischievous glint filled the mysterious man's eyes. Once the elevator arrived on the 8th floor which happened to be the floor where the HR is located Mandy exited the elevator. Not until she heard the man said.

"See you later, Miss Smith." Mandy was not able to reply because the elevator doors closed immediately. She was perplexed but she just let it go. She immediately went to the HR office and was briefed of all the tasks that she will take.

Mandy will have a supervisor that will train her with Mr. Moore's daily schedule, his dislikes, and everything else to know about her boss.

The HR officer Athena which will also be Mandy's temporary supervisor, accompanied her to her office. She was issued a company phone, laptop and Ipad. As soon as she prepared her things on her desk, her supervisor arrived and brief her also and informed her that Mr. Moore is already in his office. She prepared with her supervisor to enter and meet her Boss.

Athena knocked on the hard door of Mr. Moore's office. Then they immediately heard a baritone voice.

"Come in." Mr. Moore said to the ladies asking them to enter his office.

Athena introduced Mandy to the young billionaire. After introducing Mandy, she immediate left the office leaving Mandy inside. Mandy, was looking at her floor trying to do everything in er power not to look at the man Infront of her.

The powerful Brad Moore grew impatient wanting to look at her eyes again.

Those same eyes that captivated him the night before.

Brad stood up and stared walking towards Mandy. He gently grabbed her chin released her lower lip from the bite that Mandy is unconsciously doing again. Their eyes met and memories of last night from the bar down towards to the hotel flooded Mandy's brain.

"Found you" Brad whispered. 

"Oh My God!" She whispered.

"Yes, babe, You kept saying that last night." Brad with his mischievous and sexy smirk plastered on his face.

"We meet again Mandy." Brad said before taking Mandy's lips again like a hungry and thirsty man that only Mandy can satisfy. They heard a loud knock on the door that made them jumped away from each other.

"Mr. Moore, Mr. Chen is on the other line." Athena opened the door slightly and informed Brad.

"Thank you, Athena." Brad replied without taking his eyes away from Mandy.

Mandy came down to reality and immediately informed Brad that she will return to her desk.

"Mr. Moore." Was the only thing that she was able to say before immediately leaving Brad's office. Mandy closed the door and leaned against the door closed her eyes and did everything in her power to relax her beating heart. After a deep breath she went to her desk and started her long day at work.

"This is definitely gonna be a long Day at work" Mandy thought to herself.

And boy she was right. It will gonna be a long day at work.
