Prologue part 2

Inside the frozen forest

The girl looked at her saviour, about clad in all black, holding a black sword with a hood covering her face

Skye: Are you alright Ms?

The girl took his hand and Skye helped her up

Girl in White: Thank you. For saving me, but I could have handled it myself.

Skye: True. You did kill the other 3 with ease.

Girl in White: Wait, were you spying on me!?

Skye: Hey hey don't get the wrong idea! I wasn't spying or stalking you or anything! I'm actually lost. I don't know where I am.

Girl in White: Really? You expect me to believe you don't know you are in Mantle? Didn't the snow and cold make it obvious?

Skye (thoughts): Mantle? Never heard of that place before?

Skye: Oh I see. I'm in Mantle. Right, sorry I hit my head a little hard. And I just woke up here. Um uh, anyways, My name is Shadow.

The girl looked at Skye dumbfounded

Girl: Really, you dress in all black and name yourself Shadow.

Skye: Well it's more of a nickname. I only give my real name to people I trust. What about you? What's your name?

Girl: You don't know who I am?

Skye: Am I supposed to?

Girl: Does the Schnee Dust Company ring any bells to you?

Skye (thoughts): Schnee Dust Company? The fuck is dust gonna do?

Skye: Sorry but no it doesn't.

Girl: Really? You've never heard of the Schnee Dust Company? Did you live under a Rock or something?

Skye: Uhh. I guess you could say that I travel a lot and don't have time to check things out.

The girl sighs

Girl: Fine fine. Lets say I believe you've never heard of it. And my name is Weiss Schnee. Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. You better remember that.

Skye: I will. You are the first girl I met since I got here.

The 2 started walking out of the forest as they talked

Weiss: So where are you even from originally? But judging by the way you dress, you look like you are from the Kingdom of Vale.

Skye (thoughts): I have no idea what the fuck a Vale is but let's go with that.

Skye: Yes, I was born in Vale. My parents kept me in our home for most of my life so I have no idea about most things, especially the Schnee Dust Company. I actually just snuck out of home.

Weiss: You snuck out of you home?

Skye: Yeah, my mother is overprotective and she didn't want me to go outside. But she did train me how to fight and how to use a weapon.

Weiss: I see, is that why you don't use a mechashift weapon?

Skye: Yes. My mother and her family prefer the old school weapons over these Mechashift weapons.

Skye (thoughts): I have no idea what a mechashift weapon even is.

Weiss: Well since you ran away from home I'm guessing you have no place to stay then?

Skye: Yup. I don't even know how I got here in the first place.

Weiss: Well, I do owe you for saving my life. If you'd like, you can stay at my home.
