Both Tom and Gustav glare at each other.
Once again, I didn't know what they were communicating about nor how they could actually understand each other.

"We should take this to the office." Gustav recommends.

"I was gonna say the same thing." Tom follows, reading his mind.

I stay sitting there looking at the two of them as they continue making all these fast decisions without me.

"C'mon Y/n." Gustav invites.

"..She's coming too?" He questions, taken aback as if it weren't planned in the telepathically made choice.

"We made an agreement, Tom." Was all he replied with.

He lets out a sigh, looking down onto the floor, "Let's go then."

I stand up from my comfy seat, trailing behind the two like a lost puppy- which I had to agree I did seem like one as I was extremely unsure of whatever was happening at the moment.
First, a letter was given to us and without even letting me get a chance to read it, they urgently decide it was a good idea to move room location?
What the hell was going on?

We didn't have to walk that far since it was on the same floor. Tom opens the door, revealing it was almost like a criminal interrogation room but with a desk and a computer placed in the corner. The dull grey walls were.. dull I guess. Nothing in this small room gave off a spark.
It wasn't a cosy room but it was manageable- also strange to think there was a room like this in a house but then I'd have to remember this house belonged to an 'ex' gang member who used to be the leader of the most dangerous gang.
Who could possible know what he used this room for?

"Could you close the door Y/n?" Gustav asks as his hands were already busy carrying many items and documents.
I nod my head, obediently closing the door like I was asked.

They both continue to take a seat at the only two uncomfy, plastic chairs there were. I decide it wouldn't be a good idea for me to sit at the cushiony chair by the desk as it wouldn't be fair of them- also from the fact that they might think of me as arrogant, well.. Tom might think that at least.

"He's just inviting us for a day, right?" Tom asks to clarify, his pierced eyebrows furrowing with seriousness.

"Did you not read the letter properly?" Gustav huffs, "Let me go over it one more time out loud."

I watch as Gustav begins to reread the whole thing out loud, with Tom leaning in to get a better focus- resting his elbows on his thighs.
His gaze averts from the speaking man to then me, double glancing at my figure that was awkwardly stood by the door.

"There's a seat at the desk."

Gustav stops reading, his attention on me now that Tom had to point me out like that. I didn't say anything but silence an 'O' with my mouth, walking over to take my seat at the desk.
I begin nibbling the bottom of my lip, feeling a tiny bit embarrassed as I begin rewinding the mini scenario again and again in my brain.

"Start from the beginning." Tom says, "carefully."

Gustav eyes him before exhaling.

"To my dearest retired members of Hawk,

It's been multiple years since I've last heard from you and just recently have I been delightedly given the news of your existences.
As an honour-"

Gustav pauses, coughing to clear up his crackling voice.

"As an honour, I would love to welcome the whole crew to stay over for a few days to catch up on plenty,
