I turned my back towards Harry and walked off. Since the weather was nice I was thinking about walking home. I picked up my phone to call my mom before che could call me. "Hey mom. I'm on my way home now. I thought I'd walk home since the weather is so nice." "Hi sweetie. Oh, okay. Well I'm still at work and after that I'm going out with some friends from work. We're gonna be out late or maybe we will sleep at an hotel. You'll manage being alone right honey?" She answeared back. "Oh, sure mom I'll be fine. See you later then, bye!" I said and hung up. Home alone! I smiled to myself as I dialed my bestfriend's number. "Hey girl! you up for some fun?" I asked her as soon as she picked up. "Yes! I'm so bored I'm surprised I haven't dropped dead yet! What'd you have in mind?" she asked me. "Well my mom's gonna go out after work and she'll most likeley sleep at an hotel so I'm all alone at home" I said to her. "Oh! I'll just pack my bag and I'll be over in a few, okay? Do you wanna call anyone else over ?" She saidm getting excited. I smiled to myself. "I'm not actually home just yet. I've just walked from work.".
"You just left from work? I thought you were done ages ago?" she asked me. "Yeah, well I'll tell you all about it when you come over. I'll walk super fast so get ready to go okay?". "Sure see you soon then" she said and hung up. I put my phone back in my pocket and started sprinting. Around me it was peaceful and quiet. The sun shone brightly overhead and you could see green fields with flowers everywhere you see. "I just love summer" I said to myself. I looked down at my feet to see a little purple flower. It was beautiful and I picked it up and put it in my hair and smiled before contiuing to walk.
Soon I could see my house in the distance. I could also see Caty, my bestfriend, standing outside my house, frustrated that I didn't open the door. I started laughing and she turned around to face me. "There you are" She squealed and pulled me in for a big hug. I pulled away from the hug after a while and turned to open the door. "Come on in" I said and giggled to her. "I thought you were in and that you were mocking me with not opening the door you dumbass" she said as she walked into my house. We took off our jackets and walked into the livingroom. I jumped onto the couch, sighing loudly. "You hungry or anyting?" I asked Caty as she walked over to me. "Uhm.. now that you mention it" She said and smiled sweetly up at me. I laughed and walked into the kitchen. We have a huge kitchen. Plenty of space to cook, we have barstool on the side of te counter so that It looked like a bar or something. Caty sat down and held her head up with her hands. I opened the fridge before looking back at her.
"What would you like?" I asked. "Uhm.. you decide it's your house after all" She answered. I looked over all the groceries. "Would taco's be okay?" I asked her, knowing it was favourite. "Taco's is perfect" She answered with a huge smile on her face. "So what should we do? We could invite some people over. Like a few guys or someting" she said, smiling at me. "Sure, that'd be cool! Why don't you call some people while I make the taco's? But not to many Caty you know what happened the last time" I said.
Last time mom left me alone me and Caty invited people over, in fact the whole class and some other people saying that we were alone. Suddenly my house was packed and people brought alcohol and everything. They trashed the house and broke some of our stuff. My mom ended up coming home early. She freaked out and yelled for everybody to get lost. I got yelled at forever and I ended up being grounded for a month, having no access to a phone, computer or anything fun. She locked the door to my room and gave me school books. I shuddered at the thought. This time I was going to be more careful. Caty blushed slighlty at the thought of it and shaked her head. "I will not let it be like last time. Promise" she said before picking up her phone and called somebody.
I focused on cutting vegestables up and putting it in bowls before I turned the owen on and started preparing the meat.
