chapter 15: Christmas breakfast

Fred

I entered her room to see her sound asleep I sat beside her running my hand in her hair. She gave a slight moan.

"P-Please don't k-kill h-him." She was having a nightmare.

"Love wake up." She snapped her eyes wrapping her arms around me.

"Shh it's okay. It's okay."

"W-were going to die. We're going to d-die."

"Shh, I'm here love." She fell back to sleep in my arms. I gave a soft smile leaning back on the headboard closing my eyes. I snapped the back open when I heard the door open, I looked only to see George sleepwalking. I rolled my eyes as he walked over to the love seat she had and sat on it. He was bloody sleepwalking. I closed my eyes again only to open them when I felt movement on the bed. I turn my head slightly to see Hermione sitting up, she looked up at me and leaned her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her pulling her into my lap.

"D-Don't leave." I lift up her head and brushed my lips against hers and gently kiss her.

"I'm not going anywhere love."

"F-Fred, I didn't choose." I moved my hand further down to her neck and squeezed, she gasps for air.

"I love you Hermione Granger, and the thought of you not being with me kills me, I can't see my life without you." I watch tears leave her eyes.

"F-Fred, this is why I can't choose. I want both you and George b-but it isn't fair for you two, Severus is my husband weather I like it or not, but I don't want you And George to get hurt or even killed. I don't know what I would do it I lose you both." I let go of her neck whipping her tears away.

"You not telling me to fuck off, so I know you do care about me. Please just let me love you as best as I can, I promise I'm not going to leave you, ever."

"Fred, I can't let you get hurt."

"Sigh, love when you are going to learn. I will die for you if I have too." I leaned down kissing her gently, she didn't pull she melted grabbing on to my shirt. I smiled laying her flat on her back and pulled from her lips hovering over her.

"F-Fred?" I kissed her lips again gently before laying me head on her chest. She ran her hands in my hair.

"In the morning after the gift exchange I'm taking you out, George not coming." She gave out a cute giggle.

"Fred."

"It's only fair that I get time alone with you."

"Hmm, fine, but you can't act like a spoil brat and fight with anyone."

"Anything for you love." I closed my eyes falling asleep as I listened to her heartbeat.

Hermione

I sat between Fred's legs as we waited for everyone to settle down and join us in the family polar. George came walking in with a grumpy look. I gave out a giggle as he walked over to me and Fred dropping himself beside us on the couch laying his head on my lap.

"I hate waking up early." I rolled my eyes running my hand in George hair. I looked back up as I heard a angry huff. Ron and Harry were entering, I gave out another small laugh. Over the years I realized no one in this room a morning person. I leaned back into Fred's chest closing my eyes. They snapped back open when Molly voice appeared.

"Alright open up gifts then breakfast, happy Christmas my children!!!" Molly walked around handedness out gifts. She handed one to me I gave her the present I had for her, and she smiled kissing my head. I opened up the gift to see a new jumper. It was canary yellow with Purple H, my face heated up as I heard both twins laugh. Canary yellow was their favorite color. I threw it on leaning back on Fred. They open theirs throwing there Matching Jumpers on after switching it.

"Aww so cute, Mum see I told you." Ginny said as she gave me a gift. I took it handing her hers feeling my cheek redden. I flicked my wand handing everyone theirs, I gave Harry Ron and Ginny some Quidditch stuff, Gave Charlie some book on Dragons, Bill got in some safety gloves for Curse protection. Gave Molly a pendent with pictures of her Son's and Daughter. Gave Arthur a muggle watch, he was happy when he saw that. I gave both twins pendants, it was empty so they would have to put whatever picture they wanted. I opened up the rest of my gifts, Arthur gave me a book he said he thought I'd would like, he said he found it on one of his over sea work meetings, it was a book on dark artifacts. I smiled thanking him. Charlie gave me bracelet telling me it would wear off fire spells and dragon fire, he gave one to Ginny too. Bill gave me book about Goblins, Harry and Ron Got me books and Ginny handed me a box telling me not to open it till I was alone, she even gave me a wink. I felt something touch my neck I jump looked down to see a gold chain with initials. F & G. I looked behind me to see Fred clipping the hook. He gave me a smile kissing my head, I looked down to see George sending a wink.

"Happy Christmas Love." Fred whispered against my ear.

"Happy Christmas Mia." George said as he flicked my forehead. I smiled at the two and leaned back against Fred chest.

"Happy Christmas." After everyone exchange, we all headed to eat. I sat between Fred and Ginny. Ginny leaned closer to me speaking in low tone.

"Moine, I'm serious. The boys are idiots." I gave out a giggle answering her.

"Harry and Ron are still young."

"Oh please Ronald is an idiot, for Merlin sake he's dated Lavender Brown. She horrible."

"If she makes him happy then that's what matters."

"Does it have to be at my bloody happiness?" I gave out another giggle.

"Your right, she is horrible." Ginny burst of laughing earning us both weird looks I ignored it as I continued eating.
