My Freshman's Year!

Time to check in!

Bidding a final 'bye' to my parents I sat in the car feeling a bit nervous as it was the very first time I was going away from my parents. As the car drove-off I turned around and saw my parents waving at me with tears still falling from their eyes, No! I don't want to cry! Saying that in my mind I turned my head forward and sat comfortably.

Soon, we reached our destination. Being excited and nervous at the same time, I quickly pulled out my heavy bags from the car and entered our college! "St. Lawyer's College" My dream was finally fulfilled, I stepped in from the front gate and started looking to each and every part of the college. I became so lost admiring everything there that I completely forgot that I needed to check in to be the part of the girl's dorm.

Without wasting anytime I quickly went and stood in the line.... Handing my documents I got the dorm's pass and thought 'Abhi toh aaye hain, aur abhi se hi responsibilities de dii!' (We just came and we already got some responsibilities!) Busy in my thoughts I didn't notice that a boy was rushing towards something and in no time we both collided.

'Ohh! I am sorry' I said while helping him picking up his things...

'Hmm' he said and went away...'Hmm?' What's with that hmm?' being confused I turned to see nothing but a Rs. 500 note lying on the pathway. I picked it up and thought that it must be of that boy 'Careless, just like me' I thought...

I walked towards the dorm showing the pass to the guard as he nodded and allowed me in...

I quickly searched for it and went inside, seeing some girls arranging their stuff I entered saying Hello Everybody!

'Hi Dear! What's your name?' a girl asked while coming towards me.

'Hey! It's Navya, what about you?' I replied

'Navya! I see that's a nice name though, btw I am Riya! Nice to meet you' she said

'Same here Riya!' I smiled softly recieving one from her too!

Riya, Ava and Naina all of them became good friends of mine!
