Expect the Unexpected

Introductions

Yoongi is impressed with the set. It's a gorgeous mansion with its modern sleek style and romantic decorations all around. The mansion isn't all that there is though. It's on an estate, so there's acres of land with other activities to do: a swimming pool, a horse ranch, and a private garden maze. All the other contestants are there too, after walking in one by one with an introduction. Yoongi is last, so in a classic deadpan delivery, he says "maybe they saved the best for last." He gets a chuckle from everyone but can't get any more words in before the show host, Kim Han Gun, starts speaking. They're all standing in rows of 4 x 5, and for some reason, Yoongi can tell someone in the row behind him is staring at him. But he doesn't want to be rude to the host by turning around, so he lets it go. As they're left to disperse and mingle, Yoongi takes a look around. Everyone took scent blockers and was instructed not to reveal their subgenders until they get a grand prize. So, for now, Yoongi just observes. Soon enough, he catches someone's attention.

"Hi, I'm Jeon Jeongguk, and you are?" Jeongguk speaks with what Yoongi can only describe as a bunny smile.

"Min Yoongi. I think I'm your hyung if I remember your introduction correctly." Not that Yoongi can't see the youthfulness of Jeongguk already, but it's just to get the conversation going.

"I'm 25, 26 in September." Jeongguk leans against a countertop, clearly showing off his biceps through his blazer. The blazer opens a bit as he leans to reveal his waist, perfectly cinched with a belt. Seokjin would be proud.

"Mm, I'm 29. So, what brings you to the show?"

"Uh, I'd rather not say. It's kind of embarrassing."

"I think that goes for all of us honestly." And Yoongi can clearly see the bunny smile again from the chuckle he gets out of Jeongguk. Before any further mingling can occur, the host calls for everyone's attention once again.

"Alright contestants, it's time to do our first challenge! This will be for choosing sleeping arrangements. You'll all get your own rooms, but some rooms are better than others."

Everyone 'oohs' as they try to peek over their heads as the show staff roll out a cart with a bowl on it.

"In this bowl is a number for all twenty of you. Whoever picks the lowest number gets to choose a room first, so if you pull number one, you go first, number two goes second, and so on. There are two twists though! You cannot look inside the room before picking it. Once you've put your hand on the doorknob, you cannot change your selection. The other twist is if you pull a prime number, like 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, etcetera, you have the power to pick whichever room you want even if it's doorknob has already been selected! Primes get prime, right?"

Everyone gives an understanding 'ooh' and is told to line up. Yoongi lets Jeongguk line up in front of him, so they're both in the middle of the line. Someone briefly puts a hand on his shoulder to squeeze in behind him.

"Sorry, didn't want to be next to a creep in the line back there."

Yoongi turns to respond but the words die on his lips as he actually looks at the guy. Is this guy an idol?

"Uh... should I move to another spot after all?"

Yoongi stutters out a "ah no its fine sorry," and turns around quickly in hopes that the other couldn't see him blushing. That's when he realizes he's sandwiched between 2 very attractive men and he's... comfortable to say the least.

"Next!"

Yoongi distractedly steps up to the cart and picks the paper at the top of the pile. He holds up the number 10 to the host and the camera. Right in the middle. He didn't hear Jeongguk's number, but he definitely wants to hear Idol Face's number.
