Lance
I woke up to what felt like strong muscular arms around my torso and the sound of someone snoring like a bullfrog. I felt warm and comfortable in this position. I turned over so I could be facing Aaron. He looked handsome with his curly locks tangled in his hair, the way his lips pout a little, and the way his good facial features add on to those things was a bonus. I got out of bed and took care of my morning routine which consisted of using the restroom, brushing my teeth, and washing my face to keep acne away from it. I swear if there's one thing that I can take away from puberty, it would be acne, discolorations, and acne scars. It's too much.
Once I was done I walked back into my room to see Aaron standing up and stretching.
"Good morning Lance." Jesus, the raspiness in his voice sent chills throughout my spine.
"Good morning Aaron. How'd you sleep?" I asked smiling softly at him.
"I slept great. Did you sleep okay though? You were screaming in your sleep."
I looked at the ground in embarrassment. It was one of the nightmares that I usually have that make me act that way. I didn't know it happened until my brother told me about the situation. For Aaron to see that side of me made it even more embarrassing.
"Yeah. Sorry about that. It was just one of my stupid nightmares. I need to grow out of that." I mumbled quietly.
"Look there's nothing wrong with that. It happens to us sometimes and we can't help it. I didn't know what else to do, so I just cuddled you and you went to sleep in one piece. You looked like an angel from the heavens too. You were blessed with good genes." He spoke biting his lip.
"Thank you. So what do you want some breakfast? I can cook if you want me to."
"That would be lovely. What can you cook?" He spoke checking his phone as it rung.
"Well some delicious pancakes, cheese eggs, bacon, biscuits, hell even an omelette. I also made a healthy drink in the refrigerator too. It's like a fruit juice that I made using real fruits. I don't like drinking those drinks that have high fructose corn syrup. Is that okay with you?"
"Yeah that's perfect Lance. Just like your eyes." He spoke walking up to me.
"Aaron shut up, you are really cheesy." I spoke looking away.
He lifted my head with his fingers and I held eye contact with him. "You're a pretty person Lance. I want you to remember that. Don't let anyone tear down your beautiful ray of sunshine. You have a heart full of gold. Now can I have a hug?"
I smiled giving him a warm hug. He brightened up my mood and the day has barely started. I was really thankful for that. My doorbell rung as we broke away from the hug.
"Who's that?" Aaron asked.
"That's my brother Blake. He usually comes by to check on me when I'm by myself on the weekdays and or weekends. Don't worry, he's sweet."
Me and Aaron walked downstairs to my front door. I looked through the peephole to make sure that it was him cause nowadays you always have to be careful cause anyone can show up on your front door.
"Hey Blake." I spoke giving him a hug. He picked me up and gave me a huge bone-crushing bear hug. It was annoying, but no one else could do it but Blake.
