"Oh, back already, Julius? What did you do?" you asked, looking at the Wizard King who had returned from his absence. You had been helping him with his paperwork, diligently working beside his desk. However, you blinked twice in surprise as you received a cheerful smile in response."It seems that Lady Mereoleona had a night training session with her brother's squads, as well as Asta, Yuno, Yami, and Charlotte," Julius explained, giving you a brief overview. You couldn't help but shiver at the thought of the intense training they must have endured.

"That must have been a hell of a training... poor them," you commented, sweatdropping at the sheer intensity of it all.

Julius chuckled at your response, seemingly amused by your reaction. It was a rare moment of lightheartedness amidst the seriousness of their duties.

"I wanna go with them, but I'm tired from the activities I did at the festival," you sighed wearily, expressing your desire to join in the intense training. However, Julius chuckled once again as he settled into his seat.

"Tired? I could have sworn that I saw you very energetic when we were announcing the ranking of the Magic Knights," he remarked, noting your previous enthusiasm during the festival. Your lips pursed together as you looked away, unable to come up with a suitable response. 

"They say they're going to a hot spring for training... I'm not sure why that would be considered training...But I think it would be best if you should join, you'll need it," he said making you smile slightly which he noticed at the small detail.

As you twirled your finger unconsciously, lost in your thoughts and mixed feelings, Julius noticed a slight glow emanating from you and saw what you were doing. "Still thinking about it?" he asked, you chuckled dryly and glanced behind you, where the moonlight illuminated the room, casting a gentle glow on your skin. The weight of your thoughts seemed to linger in the air.

 "It's still not time for it, I'm not ready." He sighed and leaned his back on his chair, "I still don't get it..."

As your hand instinctively went to your heart, feeling the weight of your emotions, you clenched it slightly. "I just couldn't accept it, but when the time came..." you trailed off, your voice tinged with determination and a hint of defiance. Your gaze met Julius's, and he attentively observed your troubled figure. "I'll show them," your yellow orb glows through the night.

As Julius sighed with a trace of hopelessness, you paid close attention, curious about what he was about to say. His words took you by surprise, causing your eyes to widen slightly.

"Just so you know," he began, his voice carrying a mix of sincerity and gratitude, "I am glad you trust me enough to show me your magic." His words touched you deeply, and you felt a swell of emotion within you.

You huffed, feeling a mixture of warmth and appreciation. "You have taken care of me when no one else could, even when you were tired, you still made time for me," you expressed, the gratitude evident in your voice he smiled warmly.

Today marked the beginning of the long-awaited Royal Knight exam. The location chosen for the exam was the same as where the Magic Knight entrance exam had taken place months before. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and determination as participants from various squads gathered, each competing for a coveted spot among the Royal Knights.

As all the participants gathered in front, you walked alongside Julius and Marx, feeling a sense of responsibility and honor. Julius, being the Wizard King, had the respect and admiration of the knights, evident in the immediate salute they offered as he addressed them. "Thank you all for gathering here today," Julius greeted the knights, his voice carrying authority and warmth.
