PERCY'S POV
I was so excited. I was about to propose to my girlfriend, Annabeth. I had gone on a quest to earn the favour of her mother, Athena and had asked Hephaestus to make the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. It was the colour of obsidian with a pearl on top and it said
I AM FOREVER YOUR SEAWEED BRAIN
I chuckled. I went to the Athena cabin. Annabeth wasn't there. Huh. That's weird. I asked Malcolm where Annabeth was.
He said, "Dunno. Check the beach."
When I got there, I saw a blonde girl kissing a boy. The new boy. Jake, son of Zeus. And next to him? Wait, was that...?
No, it couldn't be... Annabeth? I got really angry. Why would she do this after everything we had been through together?
"ANNABETH! WHY?????"
Annabeth turned around. "Percy, this isn't-
"SAVE IT! I THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE THE GIRL OF MY DREAMS! I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID! FOR GOD'S SAKE ANNABETH, I FELL INTO FREAKING TARTARUS FOR YOU! AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO IN EXCHANGE FOR THAT? YOU CHEAT ON ME WITH THIS... THIS IDIOT?? I EVEN WENT ON A QUEST JUST FOR ATHENA'S PERMISSION TO MARRY YOU! I HATE YOU!!!
With that I threw the proposal ring onto the sand and made my way to my mum's appartement to visit.
