Shortly after the battle at Camp Half-blood, after she got home, was when it all started. Annabeth began getting migraines, so she was drugged with painkillers heavily. Her dad never let her take part in any medication, not that anything actually worked, so it was drug after drug after drug. Annabeth began to lose memory of the whole summer.
It got to a point where Annabeth could no longer remember anything from the summer except for tiny bits and peices. Losing Percy, meeting the seven, traveling on the Argo, following the mark. That was all she could remember. She couldn't even remember the battle which brought here there, not even after the countless times her parents told her, she wouldn't remember.
So, her parents gave up. Annabeth's doctor told them it was best she remembered on her own, anyway, so Annabeth was left to wonder what happened in agony and confusion.
She tried emailing the seven, but they never answered. Despite what Percy had promised her, they didn't go to school together. Sally and him had moved away after her messy divorce with Paul, so all she could look forward to was the upcoming summer of camp.
When the summer finally came, her dad was reluctant to let her go.
"What if you run out of meds?" He worried. "What if you have a mental breakdown?"
"Relax, dad," she tried to reassure "I'll be fine. Plus, those Apollo kids are good for something." She smirked.
Her dad nervously laughed, and after much hesitation, agreed. She left for camp two weeks later.
When Annabeth's dad pulled up the the strawberry field on which Camp Half-Bloof lay, she was filled with an overwhelming joy. Finally! She thought, I can get someone to tell me what happened.
So off she went, after saying goodbye to her dad. When she got up, Nico greeted her with a sad smile.
"Annabeth!" He exclaimed. "We, uh, didn't think you'd be coming this year."
"Why wouldn't I be coming?" She grinned and slapped Nico on the back.
"Has Percy checked in yet? I really need to talk to him." She was practically bouncing, she was so eager to see him.
"Annabeth..." Nico started, his face turning a bright shade of red "you don't remember, do you?"
"Yeah," she said, suspiciously, "that's why I need to talk to him. What's wrong?"
"Annabeth," his voice was shaky, like he was going to start crying. "Percy is dead. He's been dead for almost a year now." He choked. "So have the seven. They-they-"
Nico's voice was cut off as his words hit Annabeth like a bullet. Memories began floading back. Of Leo and Jason, riding off on Festus, and killing Gaea. Of Hazel and Frank, Frank shelling from a rouge grenade, but his efforts being in vain. And, especially, of Piper and Percy, trying to fend off monsters from a wounded Annabeth who had been been stabbed in the thigh.
Annabeth collapsed. A giant migraine took hold of her, and she violently shook herself back and forth. "No!" She screamed. "No! No! No!"
She was vaguely aware of people surrounding her, but she couldn't hear them, her thoughts were too noisy and powerful. She could feel her energy slowly slipping away. Somewhere, behind her raging mind, she knew she was about to pass out.
Her vision started to black out as her conciousness fell away.
And Annabeth fell into her own, personal void.

So yeah, bit of an AU from another book (not gonna say which cause *River Song voice* spoilers). Hope you all enjoyed! Or died from misery either way.
