Break had just begun that same day.
Olivia was already outside Darren & Nathan.
They were so deep into a conversation that they didn't even notice Leah running up to them, before she hurled herself around them, coming to a stop beside Nathan.
Olivia was in the middle of speaking, before she noticed Leah standing there. Olivia immediately looked away, blushing at the sight of her. Her voice became shaky, as she leaned towards Darren, before looking back up.
"H-Hi, Leah..!" She said, still flustered by her sudden appearance.
"What's going on guys? Where's Charlotte?" Leah asked, being obnoxious to how flustered Olivia was.
"She's... I DONT KNOW!!" Olivia exclaimed, her face bursting into a big red mess and she flailed her hands around, before covering her mouth and nose with her hands, almost like she was in shock.
But in reality, she was flustered beyond belief, at just seeing Leah. She already regretted kissing her earlier that day, and just seeing her made it feel worse, and worse. She leaned into Darren, as he noticed her breathing. She was practically hyperventilating.
"Woah! Liv? Are you okay?" He asked, suddenly panicking at simply just, her face.
He dragged her over to a nearby bench, and sat her down, as he sat beside her, with his arm around her.
Leah stood in the same spot, as Nathan stood beside her.
"Ummm, what's that about?" He muttered to Leah, who acted as clueless as him.
Suddenly, Darren gained their attention, before using his hands to politely ask them to give them space, so they complied.
"I ummm, hope she's okay.."
Leah said to Nathan, as he pulled out his phone.
"Yeah. Wonder what could've caused it though."
They walked up to the main area, the same place they met up the day before, without Nathan.
He sat down at another wooden bench, and placed his bag by his side.
Leah watched in astonishment as the boy pulled an entire sealed cheesecake out from his bag, which was somehow in pristine condition.
The label read in a fancy looking font
Salted Caramel Cheesecake

She walked over, and sat across from him, as he placed the delicacy onto the table, before violently ripping the label off, so he could get box open.
As she sat down, she crossed her legs under the table, as he literally pulled a black plastic fork out from his bag, which was still beside him.
She folded her arms, and placed her head ontop of them as she leant over the table.
He stabbed the cake with the fork, before taking it out and eating the chunk that came off with the fork.
"You psycho."
Leah chuckled, as she watched him take another bite.
"What?" He said, his mouth still full.
"You're supposed to slice a cake, surely?"
She said, lifting her head up and smirking at him.
"Yeah. But I don't play by society's rules." He said, taking another bite, before almost choking as he laughed at what he said.
She laughed at the fact he choked, but as she opened her mouth to let out her laughter, she was stopped by a piece of cheesecake hitting the roof of her mouth.
"Mmmf- AH." She was shocked at first, but got distracted by the sensations hitting her taste buds, as he took the fork back.
Once she had gotten over the absolute delicacy that was the cheesecake, she said;
"That was so... sweet."
Nathan had taken another 3 bites as he waited for her to finish hers, before looking back at her.
"Huh, well that's odd. It's salted." He said, his mouth still full.
"No, I meant.." She physically felt herself blush as she thought about what she was going to say.
She also made the mistake of leaving her mouth hanging open, as she paused. The next second, another chunk of cheesecake went into her mouth.
She ate it quicker this time, practically forgetting to chew.
"I meant-that was sweet of you, to do!" She exclaimed, as he seemed unnerved by what she had just said.
He did however, notice her face was bright red.
"Gimme another bit!" She said, opening her mouth and sticking her tongue out at him.
"Nuh-uh" He said, as the fork stuck out of his mouth.
Her face went from happy, to offended.
"What? Why not!?" She giggled, as he gave her a side eye, smirking as he did so.
"Cuz, you asked for it. I need to surprise you, otherwise it's not funny." He smiled, which actually made it way more confusing than it would've if he didn't smile at all.

Their conversation stopped for a bit, leaving them in silence.
"Where's this coming from?" She asked, as he packaged the cheesecake back up into its box.
He ignored her at first, Atleast whilst he put the box back into his bag.
"What do you mean? The cheesecake?" He said, with that stupid smile he had been doing constantly.
"No, idiot. Why are you talking to me?" She asked, feeling odd about it, as she reminisced about the bus the day before, and what she did that night.
He threw his bag over his shoulder, and sighed.
"I... feel bad, I guess. For what I said to you, on the bus, I could tell it hurt your feelings."
She didn't know what to say in response to that, other than stand and stare at him with a blank look on her face.
"Yeah, umm, it's no big deal, really-
"No, it probably is, if it hurt you that much, I'm sorry Leah."
He muttered, trying to sound sincere but also not sound like a guy in some cliche romance anime.
"It's, cool dude. Like seriously, I'm over it now anyway." She said, with absolutely zero emotion.
"Oh, cool. Anyways, I'd best go find Charlotte, me and her have Chemistry next, I'll see ya later..!" He said, before running off in the silliest way she had ever seen. She laughed at him, before turning behind her and heading to her class.
