Chapter Nine

"I saw it happen, Eunji... Haeun was kissing Bada. I can assure you it was her," Y/n recounted, noticing Eunji's raised eyebrow.

"Are you positive it was her, Y/n? It's hard for me to believe that Haeun would do something like that," Eunji tried to offer reassurance.

"No, I'm telling you it was her."

"But—" Y/n angrily pushed Eunji away, cutting her off. "If you're not going to believe me and dismiss my experience, then just leave. I thought you were here to listen and support me. Why are you defending her? I saw exactly what I saw!" She yelled.

"Y/n... I'm sorry. It's just difficult for me to comprehend that Haeun could do something like that. What if Bada kissed her? What if she didn't know how to react because she was caught off guard?" Eunji continued to defend her friend.

"You don't know that. Just go away. You're only here to protect her." Y/n scoffed. Eunji let out a sigh and walked away. Y/n wiped away her tears. How could Haeun betray her like this? How could she cheat on her with Bada? The person she always found peculiar and disliked.

Y/n's mind was flooded with a mix of confusion, anger, and heartbreak. How could Haeun, her partner and confidant, have been so cruel? It felt as though the world was crumbling around her, and the foundation of trust that they had carefully built over time was being demolished in an instant.

As the weight of the situation sank in, Y/n couldn't help but replay the image in her mind - Haeun's lips pressed against Bada's, the undeniable intimacy they shared. The sight was seared into her memory, a painful reminder of the betrayal that had unfolded before her eyes. Earlier in the day, redlic had witnessed y/n talking to her new friend Jihoon, which sparked a pang of jealousy within her. It bothered her that her girlfriend was engaging with this guy, and lately, y/n had been getting under her skin. It took y/n a while to even notice redlic's presence, and when she finally did, she offered a belated apology for not realizing she was already there.

However, redlic wasn't convinced. It was now her turn to play with y/n's emotions and make her feel jealous. "Two can play that game, y/n," she smirked. She knew exactly who to turn to for this plan - Bada Lee, y/n's enemy.

Redlic was aware that y/n had always disliked Bada and didn't appreciate their close relationship. But redlic was determined. She wouldn't let y/n constantly make her feel jealous. If y/n wanted to act that way, then she could experience the same emotions.

With a smile on her face, redlic approached Bada. It didn't take long for them to engage in a conversation, giggling and laughing together. Redlic even clung onto Bada's arm, asking for her help in making y/n jealous. Bada quickly agreed, knowing exactly how to push y/n's buttons. While they were engrossed in their conversation, y/n was searching for redlic.

"I can hear someone walking," Bada whispered, raising her eyebrow. She glanced towards the parking lot and noticed someone peeking. It didn't take long for her to realize it was y/n. She smirked to herself, knowing that her plan was working.
