𝙿𝙰𝙽𝙸𝙲 𝙰𝚃𝚃𝙰𝙲𝙺 .

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙴𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝.

It was a few days since the whole Cole and Nai in the bathroom. Nai hasn't spoken to Cole, he's been showing lots of interest in Jackie so she thought she would leave it alone. Of course she was jealous because she wanted him to talk to her, she was just to embarrass to talk to him or even look him in the eyes after what he said to her. She always sees him with Aaron that's also half of the reason why she didn't want to talk to him.

It was the day after Cole had taken Jackie to the river. The only reason that she knew that was because Danny had told her. They have grown extremely close and he knows how Nai feels about Cole.

"What? He can do that with her but won't even talk to me? it's been 4 days." Nai was complaining to Danny after he had told her the news. "I don't blame him. I don't think he knows that you want to talk to him" "Your right."

It was early in the morning. Danny and Nai were talking in the kitchen when isaac walked in and asked for Danny's help in the backyard. Once Danny had left with Isaac, Nai walked outside and saw Cole talking to his little sister. He was kneeling down in front of her. Once she walked away from Cole, Cole turned around and saw Nai. He got up and started walking to Nai. She got nervous because of the amount of time that they spent apart. He kept walking till Cole saw Jackie. He walked over to Jackie and didn't look back at Nai once. She nodded her head and walked back inside and laid on her bed.

A few hours later Nai heard a knock on her door. She went to go open it to see Cole looking down on her with his blue eyes she loved.

"Hi" Cole said in a quiet voice. Nai gave him a look that told him to come inside her room. Once he walked in, she sat on her bed while he mimicked her act. "Hi" she said to the boy while not looking at him. "Look at me" Cole said while looking at her while no eye contact was made. He took his hand and put it under her chin forcing her to look at him. The two were sitting on Nais bed, Cole's hand under Nais chin while looking into each others eyes.

"I'm sorry" Cole said while examining her face. "I knew that i needed to apologize. I knew that you were waiting for me to
talk to you. Danny told me I should or I should leave you alone and i knew I couldn't". Nai was looking at Cole but quickly grabbed his hand and look it off her face. "How's my sister?" Nai said in a sarcastic tone. She was hurt. "I think we both know I feel something stronger for you then I do for Jackie." Nai looked up at him. She was thinking about what he had just said to her. "Prove it." She said in a serious tone in her voice. Cole was sitting in front of her, looking down, those words came out of her mouth he looked up. Took his hand to the side of her cheek. Cole was leaning in and so was Nai.

The door swung open. "Hey, um Cole? Wanna watch a movie with me?". Danny said obviously knowing he interrupted something. Cole didn't move his hand but they both pulled away as fast as they could. "Yeah i'll be down in a minute". Danny closed the door. "Meet me by my car tonight, Yeah?" Cole said to Nai as he got up to leave and go watch a film with Danny. "Yeah okay" Nai said. Disappointed.

Nai knew she couldn't meet him down tonight. It wasn't right for her but somethings was telling her she had to. She was looking out her window waiting for him to be seen 1st so she wasn't waiting outside like an idiot if he didn't show. She knew that Danny and His show that they were watching was over because Danny had came and said goodnight to Nai. Once she saw Cole out by his car, she threw on a jacket and walked downstairs. It was about 12 at night when she looked at the time before walking out the door.

Her eyes met with Cole's. "Ready?" Cole said with a slight smile. "For what?" Nai just looked at him. "Get in.". They were driving somewhere. Nai was looking out the window while Cole was looking at her more then the road.

Once Cole stopped Nai was hesitant to get out of the car. "Here." Cole said while putting his car in park. "Where is here?" Nai said while trying to look outside but it was kinda dark. Cole got out and ran to the door to let Nai out of the car. He took her hand and held it while he lead her somewhere.  It was a flower field. Cole sat her down, It was Cole sitting with his legs out and Nai sitting next to him with her knees up to her chest. "You know, if I ever get married, I want these flowers to be the flowers my beautiful wife is holding." Cole said while picking up a flower that was shaped like a wand. Nai stayed silent. She was till shook from what happened earlier and even more mad about Danny walking in. "You're not talking, why?" Cole said while looking at his hands. "What were you going to do? In my room earlier?" Nai said while looking at him but looked up at the sky. Cole was laying on his back while his elbows held him up. "I was going to prove it to you." Cole said while they were both looking at one another. Cole got up from laying down to sitting up looking at Nai. His hand reached her chin again and was rubbing her cheek with his thumb. "Want me to prove it still?" Cole said while looking at Nais lips and looking back at her eyes. "Please." Cole was leaning into Nai as Nai stayed put, her heart was beating out of her chest. Eventually which felt like forever, Cole's lips reached Nais. A sudden spark grew between them and they both felt it inside. From the way Cole was kissing Nai it felt to her that he really didn't feel anything for Jackie  But what about Aaron? She probably shouldn't be thinking about her while he was kissing Nai so she let it go and enjoyed the moment. It was a solid 3 minutes before any of them pulled away. After Nai pulled away, Cole said "Enough proof?" "Nah" Nai said while a smile. He kissed her again before getting up and helping her up. Getting in the car, the whole way back Cole's hand was on Nais thigh. Once they got home no words were said just walked the opposite ways and went to bed.
