"Lauraaa...cara mia, you killed it, babe!"

Niki rushes towards me and knocks into me. He may be impossible at times, and I'm surprised I haven't killed him already.

"Stop screaming, you idiot!"
I push him away so that I can properly undress and to remove the remaining make-up from the fashion show.

"Rude," he mutters as he continues to pick up garments and hang them on racks.

Most girls share a changing room, but I have my own. My brothers insisted on taking precautionary measures. Personally, I think I should blend in with the crowd. It would remove the spotlight from me. However, my brothers do not want to give our enemy any opportunities for surprise.

A knock on the door interrupts us. I glanced in the mirror and waited for someone to come in.

Before anyone on the other side of the door can enter the changing room, Niki has already opened the door and scrutinised the girl from head to toe.

He greets her politely, "Hey, sweetheart, how can I help you?"

Niki squeals in delight without waiting for a response.

"Oh, my God!"
"Is this for me?"

I smile, picturing hearts reflecting in his puppy eyes. Niki is a child trapped inside a man's body.

Young girl is giggling at his antics and politely answering his question. I didn't understand all she said.

"Thank you, sweetie!"He is squeezing the poor girl, leaving her out of breath.

A shower of kisses falls on the girl's face, completely shocking her.

Niki is a huge social butterfly with a bubbly personality. Hugging is his way of saying "hello," and believe me, you've got your best friend since then.

"Look, Laura, how wonderful these roses are!"
"You are a lucky bitch!"
I know he's more curious and enthusiastic than I am.

He's grinning like a Cheshire cat at me, wiggling his brows with a big question mark.
"You have a secret lover, don't you?"

I snatched flowers from him and found a message. This is actually an invitation to the "Black Diamond", Milan's most prestigious club.
Black invitation card does not convey much. Only the letter "D" has been written.

"Could it be him?"I thought.
It seems inconceivable following our previous experience. Not after we spent the night making love and he coldly abandoned me.

"Babe, who is it?" Niki interrupts my train of thought.

But I ignored Niki's question, contemplating whether it was wise to meet with him or not.

I sigh deeply and say, "Niki, just go find Dona."

My face is covered in signs of sadness. I inform Niki about the invitation, trying to hold back my emotions.

"We'll go to Black Dimond, not the afterparty."
