Coming home from Shousuke's house felt different. The rest of my weekend felt somehow empty. I couldn't describe it but just shrug the feeling off instead. Throughout the whole weekend I just either stayed home and studied or worked at my job. So when I heard the alarm of my phone for school I couldn't help but feel excited to go.

I went to put on my uniform which consist of a red striped skirt that reaches midway up my thigh, a white polo shirt, the school blazer and a red bowtie. After fixing my uniform and tying my hair in a style I like, I went to go put on my mary jane shoes. I then went to fix up my textbooks and bag then went on to travel to school.

Walking to school with the breeze in your hair, listening to music and the warm sun shining should be the most peaceful thing to ever experience in life. Walking through the neigbourhood and taking in mother nature the song, "Sweater Weather- The Neighbourhood", played in my ears.

Making it on the school gates, then walking near the lockers to put most of my stuff away. I firstly paused my music and moved my headphones aside as they hung around my neck. I then changed into my indoor shoes before making my way through the hallways, greeting any teachers or students that I manage to walk by.

A serene feeling went through my veins as I walked into my classroom. There wasn't many students in the class since school has just started so I greeted the remaining people and cleaned the chalkboard did some of the missing task I was assigned by my teacher. Finishing off by fixing up the notes and poster of the notice board in our classroom before fixing my skirt of my uniform and combing and patting down my hair with my fingers before going up to a group of people and initiating a conversation.

a mere minutes later the bell rang, I stood up and walked towards my seat and noticed that Shousuke wasn't here yet. A dreading sensation fell into my heart and ran through my stomach. I tried to ignore the feeling throughout the whole time I walked to my seat, sitting on it, losing all of my enthusiasm for today... that was until when a certain dark head walked into the classroom. I look through my peripheral vision and then turned my head towards the door to see a certain Shousuke walking through the door unbothered.

I sighed out of relief but then caught myself thinking. Are you crazy? You just met this guy a few months ago and know that's all you think about. This is driving me crazy. but I was quickly snapped out of though as I was called on by the teacher.

"Y/N-san, can you please introduce the coming up event?" Sensei calls on me with a caring tone. Some students turn their attention to me but I was mostly focused on Shousuke. Walking up to the front of the classroom, I beam a short smile towards the audience in front of me before speaking.

"Hello everyone! coming up tomorrow is the excursion to the aquarium for our biology assignment and then the following month the Itan private high school cultural festival. The staff and I expect you to be there for these following events thank you." I smile once again before bowing my head slightly to my sensei then the class. I walked through the class, getting a congrats towards the students I walk by before sitting back on my seat. I look again at Shousuke and then looked away insantly mentally scolding myself for doing so.

I tried distracting myself with the school work we have been giving for the day but I notice myself fidgeting more often than not.

/BREAK/

"Hitomi-chan!" I whine as I slowly walk towards her with my back slumped and eyes half-lidded showing obvious signs that I am tired.

"Awe my baby how are you," she extends her arm out towards me and pulls me in a hug. I sigh into the hug before letting go and linking our arms together as we walk out the school and to sit outside the usual bench we sit on.
