"Rosie, Special is pregnant with a few kittens I think," my mom says.
"She is pregnant?" I ask in disbelief.
I honestly don't know how she would've got pregnant she never likes to leave my side.
"Were going to take her to the vet," Mom says.
I've always gone to every vet visit Special has ever gone to, and if I was in school my mom would just pick me up.
"Rosie put Special in her pet carrier so we can go," mom orders.
I take Special and put her in the pet carrier but she won't go in there without a fight, by the time I get her in there I have bite marks and scratches up my arm.
"Okay we are ready, now lets go," I anxiously say.
We go in the car and the car ride there takes about 15 minutes.
"Hello how may I help you?" The lady at the front desk asks.
"We would like to have our cat Special checked to see if she is pregnant," my mom explains.
"Well we have a vet available to look at her go to room 19," the lady says
"Okay, thank you,"
We walk to room 19 and there is a girl vet in there, which is great because Special does not like guys at all.
"Hello how are you three?" The vet asks referring to us and the cat.
"We are good, we just want Special to be checked out to see if she is pregnant," I say.
"Okay, I will do an ultrasound on her and we will see,"
The vet does an ultrasound and we find out that Special is pregnant with two baby kittens.
"While we are here we should see how her prosthetic leg is," the vet suggests.
We named her Special because we found her in an ally when she was just a baby kitten and she only had three legs, we found out that she was born like that.
"Well her leg is doing great," the vet says.
"Okay thanks, see you in a few weeks," mom says.
A few weeks later Special had her two baby kittens.
One kitten is a calico and the other one is black and white, I found out that both of them are girls.
We wanted to name the calico "Baby" since she was the smallest one and the last one to be born, and the black and white one would be named "Moo-Moo" since she looked like a cow with her colors and all.
Special kept laying down so the baby kittens could drink milk from their mommy. They are so cute when they meow.
I don't think I want to get rid of these two precious kittens. ever.
