Finnick laid comfortably in his bed, black headphones resting around his neck. Hair a mess, still slightly damp after his shower. His head tilted, as he concentrated on tuning the electric guitar on his lap. He rolled his eyes seeing the time was one am.
Swinging his legs out of bed, Finn stood up. His grey tartan pj trousers dropped slightly and he walked to close his windows. But he froze seeing the town clock... it was right!? Since when did that move?
Olive and Jane were strolling down the main road, arms linked on their way to breakfast. Jane had decided to sneak her out before her shift started. She was chatting away until she was pulled back, unable to walk further. "Uh Jane?" Jane turns to see Olive had stopped walking.
"You ok sweetheart?" Jane rushed to let go of her arm feeling her forehead. Olive smiled gently putting down janes hand.
"I'm ok. Just wanted to show you the clock" she pointed up to the clock which was right for once. Jane's mouth fell open making Olive laugh. Before dragging her the rest of the way to grannys.
Their arrival was announced with the usual loud bell and as Jane went to grab their seats Ruby rushed over to hug her friend. "Good morning to you two!" Olive laughed at her friend.
"You're back early, and with a smile my my ginger" Olive laughed. As they strolled over to the counter together.
"Well it's a sunny day and I'm out the hospital, for the second day in the row." They laughed again enjoying each others company, before Ruby asked for her and janes order. "Can I have one coffee and one hot chocolate andddd hash browns please!" Ruby nodded with a smile writing the order.
"Coming right up sunshine." Olive smiled, walking over to join Jane.
The pair were chatting away when the bell distracted Olive, drawing her attention to the boy who has been plaguing her mind. Walking in along side the sheriff.
Jane held in a laugh seeing her little friend completely captivated by the mayor's eldest. "And then she just exploded turning into a monkey." She couldn't hold it any longer when olive just nodded clearly never listening.
Olive finally looked away and back to her friend head tilted confused. "What?"
Finn walked in and straight over to the counter. "2 Coffees" Ruby rolled her eyes at his rudeness, Finnick smirked leaning on the counter "please". He stood reaching for his wallet before hearing the voice of the girl who had taken over his head. His head snapped to the direction seeing those bright sapphire eyes and ginger hair.
