Opening the door,he took a deep breath and was on his way to the bakery. Walking down the front stairs he made a sharp left heading inside the garage of their row house. Taking out his car keys from his pocket,Onyx unlocked his car,got inside. Setting his stuff down in the passenger seat he opened the garage door. "Now let's see if my manager emailed me to run by the store to get anything." said Onyx, opening his email on his phone. Looking at his recent emails,he didn't find any from his boss. With that he started up his car and headed to the café.
Arriving at The Willow Drop Cafe, he started up the machines and began to prepare the basic ingredients for all of their pastries. Once he had done that he made a batch of each morning's pastries. This included Daifuku (大福), Manju (饅頭) and Roll Cake (ロールケーキ) and much more. Onyx was alone in the bakery until 9 o'clock. This was when his co-workers would begin to come to work. At exactly 9:05 am, his co-worker,Mayumi Uehara came in for her shift. "おはよう真由美!" (Good Morning Mayumi !) greeted Onyx as she came in through the back door. Hearing Onyx's warm voice,her ears perked up towards his voice. "おはようオニキス, 今朝はどうですか？" (good morning Onyx,how are you this morning?) returned Mayumi as she set her bag down. "Still miserable,but okay. I see you're still rocking that ancient Chinese male ponytail that's often seen in their dramas" said Onyx, taking a batch of pastries out of the oven. "Thank you Onyx...umm" said Mayumi was about to ask why he was miserable although she already knew the answer. Mayumi could smell the heavy stench of sadness and misery fuming off of Onyx. Mayumi had been contacting Onyx's family and asking them what she could to help him. They had no clue,because Onyx had never been this sad in his life to their knowledge. Though Onyx's older brother,Annox had a little bit of an idea since he had a very similar relationship with their grandmother as Onyx did. Annox said to just be there for him and to act cheerful around him and try to make him laugh,which is what he did whenever Onyx felt blue and that he will visit him on Saturday. It was currently Thursday, Mayumi got really close to Onyx's face while he was putting the batch of pastries that he had just taken out of the oven onto a tray. "真由美何してるの?" (Mayumi, what are you doing?) asked Onyx, a little flustered with Mayumi being so close to his face. Mayumi didn't answer him,she just got closer,causing Onyx to go backwards but Mayumi kept her distance until he had backed himself into a wall."真由美！ 何か言って!" (Mayumi! say something!) Smiling,with a tiny giggle, Mayumi begins to sniff for the "culprit" for her sudden sniff attack. She sniffed his neck,licked it "Hm,nope not it" ,sniffed all around his face "Nope,but I am getting hot",she sniffed his ears and "found the culprit". "Ah! Found the culprit,you have cleaned your ears recently have you" pouted Mayumi in a cute way. "I-oh my god..." said Onyx, extremely flustered, sinking to the ground at Mayumi's feet. "Ah! Perfekt, perfect your at a reasonable height for me to clean your ears! *cute humph*" Mayumi said, picking up Onyx and going to the second floor where the workers' break room was, along with a shower.
Realizing Mayumi was heading straight for the bathroom, Onyx freaked out "Маюми, что ты собираешься делать со мной в ванной?!, Я имею в виду...真由美トイレで私と何をするつもりですか?!" (Mayumi what are you planning to do with me in the bathroom?!,I mean...what are you planning to do with me in the bathroom?!) "Clean your dirty ears, what else am I gonna do...make you strip and give you a shower myself?" asked Mayumi, opening the bathroom door. "Give me a break, now I am going to set down in the bathtub and I will sit on the bath seat." "Do I have to be between your legs for this?"(Onyx). "Yes when I'm combing your ear fur. Then when I'm cleaning your ears and when I'm cleaning your ears, um...*clears throat * I have found the most effective way is to umm...sit in your lap with your head down which unfortunately results in your head on my umm chest area..." Mayumi said, embarrassed. "*Sigh* Oh I guess that's fine we've known each other for 4 years now so ,whatever I don't mind." replied Onyx. Setting Onyx down in the bathtub floor,"Правда?(Really), You don't mind" exclaimed Mayumi
