*Erin's pov*

I walked into Hank's office and shut the door "we need to talk" I sat down "about" Hank looked up from his paperwork "Jay dating a 17 year old" I said

"I don't particularly like it but I can't do anything she's 17, it's legal" Hank leaned back in his chair "she's a minor Hank" I leaned forward

"are you sure this is about the age gap or your annoyed he's moving on" Hank raised an eyebrow making me scoff  "I told you it wasn't a good idea" I walked out of Hank's office and sat in my chair as everyone walked upstairs

I rolled my eyes as Hank walked out of his office "Lindsey you're with Atwater, Hanstead with Ruzek" Adam stopped walking "why" he frowned "just changing partners" Hank shrugged and walked back into his office

*Jay's pov*

I sighed grabbed my keys "where you going partner?" I internally rolled my eyes at Adam's nickname "my landlord gave me the go ahead to get something. I should be back within 2 hours" I answered

"I'll join you" Adam followed me downstairs and into my car

"so where are we going?" Adam looked over at me as I pulled an address up on google maps "Hazel's mum still has Hazel's dog from before she went to Brady so I'm getting him back" I started driving

"what did Hazel do anyway?" Adam asked another question starting to annoy me "her mum didn't want her so the easiest thing apparently was to send her to Brady" I answered "huh"

"is she a fling?" I rolled my eyes at Adam's question "no, I seriously want to see where the relationship goes" I turned onto the highway "she thinks she's a fling" Adam told me "no she doesn't" I rolled my eyes again "when you called her 'babe' she had a look of doubt" Adam looked at me "she thinks she's a fling"

"why do you think Voight only switch Kev and I and you and Erin?" Adam asked "probably because Ern has a problem with Hazel and I" I looked over at Adam

*1 1/2 hours later*

Adam and I walked inside with the pitbull "dog still scares me" Adam walked in the door after me "dog" I chuckled as Hazel walked into the room

"Freddy Krueger" Hazel smiled and started patting the now overly excited dog "Freddy Krueger" Adam repeated "I was obsessed with the nightmare on elm street series and we rescued him from a puppy mill that was discovered when it went up in flames"

"do you feel like a fling" I glared at Adam before noticing Hazel had tensed up "told you" Adam walked out

"baby" I walked over to Hazel and hugged her "you aren't a fling, I seriously want to see where this goes" I kissed Hazel

"you ok" I cupped Hazel's cheek "I'm not old enough to get my dad back to america" Hazel looked at the ground "and the only person who can sign the papers in the bitch and she won't" I frowned and hugged Hazel

"I'll talk to Voight, we'll figure something out" I kissed the top of Hazel's head "really" Hazel looked up at me "of course baby" Hazel smiled and kissed me

*1 week later Hazel's pov*

I smiled and waited by the the gate my dad was going to be at "Otōsan (dad)" I smiled and hugged my dad as I got to him "Hēzeru (Hazel)" my dad grabbed my face to look at me "Anata wa totemo seichō shimashita (you've grown so much)" I smiled " Anata ga inakute totemo samishikattadesu (I missed you so much)"

I smiled as we walked outside "dad I have to tell you something" I scratched the back of my neck "what you do?" my dad gave me a disappointed look "my boyfriends picking us up since I don't have my licence because of Brady" I answered "boyfriend" my dad glared

"he's a good guy dad, but he's 38" I gave an awkward smile "he's what" my dad looked shocked" it's legal, he helped get you back over, he got Freddy Krueger back, came with me to get the stuff from the old house, and he's learning Japanese" I smiled "it's not going to well but he's trying" I chuckled

"he really sweet dad, we've been dating just over a week and he knows to get me sushi if I'm feeling down, I didn't even tell him about Freddy Krueger, he saw 1 picture of us" I smiled as we got to Jay

"don't even" I chuckled "rude" Jay said sarcastically "let me take this stuff for you" Dad glared at Jay as he put dad's stuff in the back of his truck

"Otōsan Yamete (dad stop it)" I glared at my dad

*3 hours later*

I sighed and sat down across from Jay while out for dinner with dad

"what do you do?" dad glared at Jay "I'm a detective in intelligence before that I was a sergeant  in the army" Jay smiled "how did you meet" dad crossed his arms "my team had found a girl from brady one of Hazel's friends, so I was sent undercover to find out more" Jay looked at me

"I found out that the staff had been paying them to keep them happy, it was never meant to turn into anything" I interrupted Jay "the shit he said was really cringy" I chuckled at the look Jay gave me "anyway Hazel told me how they leave Brady and that the night before we found her friend she found a lot of blood in there"

"then no one wanted to adopt her and we didn't want her to go back to her mum so she came to live with me and that night we got talking and" Jay smiled across at me as dad glared at him

*that night*

I smiled and walked out of the bathroom and sat on Jay's lap cross legged "baby" Jay groaned "I know you love that truck more than your life actually more than anything" I chuckled "so can you please drive me to a car dealership so I can get my own car so I can take my drivers test" I begged

"you'd be crazy on the road" jay chuckled as he grabbed my face and held my cheeks "please" I wrapped my arms around his neck "it's really boring sitting around here all day, or walking where I want to go, or waiting for you to get back to work so I can go where I want to go"

"I took the written test I got a really good score, yeah I can be a bit of a nutjob but that's because I'm bored, I won't get bored if I can go out and get something to cure my boredom, I can afford a car but I can't get it in my name because I don't have my licence" Jay sighed and sat his hands on my hips

"please" I gave puppy dog eyes "don't give me those eyes" I pouted "I don't want you to get hurt" Jay looked in my eyes"I'm more likely to get hurt walking, you know how many creepy guys have followed me" I gave him a tight lipped (😐) look "what" Jay looked shocked

" I make sure to lose them before I come back" I shrugged "you don't tell me" Jay looked at my slightly annoyed  "you would turn into a bodyguard"

"when dad and I move into our own place I can come over more" I smirked "we're going as soon as the dealerships open" Jay nodded making me chuckle and kiss him

"my dad could walk out any minute" I smirked as Jay picked me up and carried me to his bedroom as we made out
