Innocence

No One P.O.V

Len sat on the swings all alone, content. It was recess, but he didn't feel like playing with his fellow first graders today.

"Hey Kagamine, what's with your ponytail?!"

He felt a yank at the back of his head, the force of the tug pulling him from his swing to the ground. Len gave out a cry of pain as he scraped the concrete. He then looked up, willing himself to prop himself up as he turned to see who had made him fall backwards. One of the second graders had ripped out his ponytail.

"Haha, you look like a girl now!" The older kid smirked as he triumphantly held it in the air. His friends gathered around the boy and joined in laughing at the flaxen haired boy. Len started to tear up until-

"Hey, leave him alone, baka!"

A girl that looked exactly like him stood between him and the bully. She also had golden hair like Len, only hers was held by white hair pins and a bow. In fact, she shared all of the same features except for the fact that she was a female. She marched up to the second grader, making him step back with each one she took.

"Don't pick on my brother just because you're jealous that he's more awesome than you'll ever be! You should be ashamed, picking on someone younger than you!" The other children began to murmur and giggle due to the blonde's remarks aimed at the older kid.

"Now don't ever bother my brother or any of my friends or else I'll hafta whoop your butt!" The second grader ran away stumbling apologies as the girl turned around to help her brother up.

"Thanks," he whimpered.

"Don't mention it". She smiled as she hugged him. "We promised each other, remember? We'd stay by each other as long as we live"

"Yeah." He grinned back.
