"What are you doing here!" Jimin woke up jumping to Taehyung's voice. He looked around to see who his brother was shouting at but saw nobody. He then looked up to see where Taehyung was shouting, only to see him glare at him. "Don't you dare get closer!" Taehyung shouted back at Jimin who was now confused and terrified, as he moved away from him.
His mother came rushing in, alerted by the sound. And when she caught on to the situation, she shouted "Taehyung!!" He looked at his mother, finally understanding what he had done, and ran away to his room a single tear falling from his eyes. He locked himself in his room. Jimin wanted to run to his brother but froze when he remembered Taehyung's words. His mother sensing his pain hugged him while he let himself cry on her shoulder. After sending Jimin to his room, she went up to Taehyung's room and knocked on his door. She could hear sheets rustle before the lock opened. She let herself in, and his dad followed. His mother sat near his head while his father was seated next to his waist.
"Mom, I'm sorry." Taehyung managed to whisper. His voice was dry, and his cheeks were tear-stained while his eyes were red. He was lying on the bed, rolled up in his covers.
His father patted his arms before replying "It's Jimin who you have to apologize to." Taehyung sighed before adding "Do you think I could live away from him for a while? Maybe it could help me suppress my inappropriate feelings for him"
"Taehyung..."
"No Mom, no, I don't want to have feelings for him."
"But Taehyung you're still underaged. We can't let you move out on your own right now..."
"Then how about I go live at Granma's house?"
"You want to go to her farmhouse? It's going to be hard to adjust to the farm life."
"I don't mind, it might be a new experience for me." Taehyung managed to convince his parents who didn't want to protest and force him to stay with them. So, they did the necessary for Taehyung to move by the end of the month, which was approximately two weeks later. They had his school paper transferred... Taehyung never came out of his room, thus shutting Jimin out, who cried every night to sleep. He wasn't even informed about the fact that Taehyung would move out to live with their Granma. He was completely clueless and felt extremely abandoned. So, he started to spend more and more time out of the house, with his friend Jungkook, they went to the movies together and did everything legal they could do to stop Jimin's tears.
One evening, as he was coming back home after a walk in the park with Jungkook, the now pink-haired boy made his presence known by shouting "I'm back." But he got no response. He looked around the house, but nobody. He peeked into Taehyung's room, but still nobody. He called his father, who replied "Hello?"
"Hello? Appa, where are you?"
"Listen Jimin, Taehyung is moving to your Granma's house, for a while, we're at the train station."
Jimin unconsciously dropped his phone and rushed out the door. He didn't want his brother to leave. Not when they were not on good terms, as cliché as it might sound, he ran all the way to the train station, his mouth started to taste like blood, everything seemed to blur, but he shook his head and looked up the next train to their Granma's village. It would depart in two minutes, he ran again to the platform and spotted his parents. The doors were closing and he spotted Taehyung walking in the middle way to get a seat. He ran to the train trying to get Taehyung's attention but failing. And the train started to move. But Taehyung didn't see him, Jimin tried to keep up with the train's speed but couldn't. He fell face first on the platform floor as he saw the train move out of his reach, all he could say was his brother's name as tears covered his face. His parents caught up to him and crouched next to him, his mother pulled him up and hugged him. Jimin couldn't bear the pain. "He left me... He hates me... It's my fault... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... Don't go..." Jimin fainted.
When he opened his eyes again, he saw his parents' faces worriedly looking at him "Jimin, please it's not your fault... Don't cry baby," his mother reassured while rubbing his arm up and down. His father sighed and pulled him to his feet before turning and carrying his son on his back. They decided to walk home, while their mother drove the car back home.
Jimin showed no emotion the entire night, nor the day after, nor the week after. He stopped talking, he stopped eating. He stopped smiling.
*4 years later*
"Jimin!! Do you want to play Truth or Dare?" Jungkook called Jimin who was sitting in a corner, sulking. It was integration week of their college and today was the integration party. Jimin didn't want to come but he was betrayed by his parents who had teamed up with Jungkook to get him to the party.
"Jimin..." Jungkook whined grabbing his arm and pulling him to sit next to him to play with some seniors. Jimin rolled his eyes. He didn't want to be here in the first place. He crossed his arms. Jungkook poked his cheek and twisted the bottle that was lying in the center.
After a few rounds and a few shots taken to not reveal the truth, Jimin on whom the bottle landed only twice, spins it. It landed on the guy next to him on the right. "Dare," he said. One of the seniors looked at him and said, "Kiss your neighbor on the left." Jimin rolled his eyes, what a bunch of perverts, "What's your name? I'm Johnsen"
"Jimin," Johnsen smirked before leaning in and capturing his lips with Jimin's. After a while, Jimin pulled away when he got a call. It was his mother. He excused himself and went out followed by Jungkook. His mother wanted to check up on him. He reassured her, and when he cut the call, he dragged Jungkook out saying he wanted to leave.
