I stretched and let out a loud yawn. I sluggishly got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. I let out a loud yawn as I turned on the shower.

The warm water rolled off my skin as it woke me up. I washed quickly before drying off. Then went to my room to get ready. I slipped on my normal uniform. A pair of black pants , and a white shirt topped with my blue lined white colored lab coat that reached my ankles and a pair or black boots.

I brushed my hair before tieing it up in a

ponytail and slipping in my glasses. I looked at the clock. "CRAP IM LATE!" I yelled as I ran out the door. I rushed through the halls narrowly avoiding people.

I slid inside the door or the research room. "Your late." My adopted dad said with a monotone voice.

"Sorry Lloyd." I replied. My 'dad' and I where never close. He always had me call him Lloyd instead of dad. I was fine with it. "Very well." He sighed. "You started working on the project while on go check on the new recruit." Lloyd said walking out.

"What new recruit?" I questioned. Lloyd turned around and gave me one of his closed eyed smiles. "He's the new Lancelot pilot. Dont worry. You'll meet him soon." He waved his hand while walking off. I sat down at the ,computer and began typing.

My eyes skimmed over the blueprints again and again. I heard the woosh of the door opening.i

Looked up from my desk and saw my 'dads' purple haired assistant. "Hello ms.Cecile." I greeted.

"Hello Vivian , Lloyd wants you to come meet the new recruit. He's about to send him into the field to fight against the rebels and test out the Lancelot." Cecile said. My eyes widened and I stood up so quickly my chair flew across the room. I ran out the door and down to where we kept the Lancelot.
Science crazed lunatic I thought.

I stepped into the launch pad and saw Lloyd with some kid he looked my age maybe a year older.

He was tall and had shaggy brown hair.

"Ah here she is. Vivian meet Suzaku he is the Lancelot pilot." Lloyd stated proudly. The male 'Suzaku' turned around. He is hot. I mentally stated. He had gorgeous hazel green eyes and his hair framed his face perfectly.

I shook myself out of my dance and walked up to him with a smile. " hi I'm Vivian ." I introduced extending my hand. The boy accepted it.

"Suzaku." He replied with a smile.

"Vivian why don't you show him to the Lancelot while Cecile and I get the controls ready." Lloyd more ordered than suggested. I nodded and tugged Suzakus arm. He was already in the pilots uniform.

"Did you read the manual?" I queried.

"Yes ma'am." He responded. I Stopped and laughed. Suzaku looked at me like he did something wrong.

"Dude.. we are the same age you don't need the ma'am thing." I said once I caught my breath.

I led him to the Lancelot. And walked up the stairs. Suzaku sat down in the seat.

"Hey suzaku?" I called. He turned around.

"Dont die. I would hate to loose the new pilot." I said in a joking manner.

Suzaku smiled. "I'll try my best." He replied with a smile. The seat slide in and the bolts screwed in to.

I ran to the command station. The countdown began. 10.....9....8.....7......6. The Lancelot got in position. 5.....4.....3.......2...1. The nightmare took of at an incredible speed. I monasteries Suzaku result with Cecile and Lloyd. Him result were absolutely astounding. "His scores .... we found the perfect pilot right Cecile." Lloyd stated happily. She gave a nod in response.

"Not bad suzaku... not bad......" I mumbled to myself."

Suzaku and I have become somewhat close over the past days. He is like my older brother. I say older because he is older than me.

I sat in my room reading a book and working on blueprints for a new project."I need to talk to you." A voice suddenly said. I jumped and numbed my knee on the table of groaned.

"Ever heard of knocking Lloyd." I sneered in pain.

"Yes. I just don't." Lloyd replied in his usual voice.

" what you need to talk about?" I asked spinning in my chair.

"You. You'll be attending Ashford Academy. So you can socialize with people your own age." Lloyd said. I sighed. I never liked the idea of school. I have always been home schooled and Lloyd has always tutored me or Cecile.

"Alright ." I sighed knowing their was no way out.

"When do I start?."

Lloyd looked at. "Tomorrow." He stated as if it where nothing. My eyes widened.

"But I don't have a uniform or supplies...." Lloyd cut me off.

"Everything is taken care off your supplies will be here in the morning." Lloyd explained before leaving.

Man he really annoys me. I thought. I sighed. I should go to bed. I change and hopped into bed and slipped off my glasses. I pulled the lamp string and drifted off into la la land.

Ill try to make the best of it was my last thought before I drifted into sleep.
