I groggly head into the kitchen and grab a cereal box out of the cabinit above the counter. I check the mini fridge not expecting there to be any milk, but surprisingly, there is a one pint carton sitting in there, taking up most of the room.

I grab a bowl from a diferent cabinit and pour in my milk and cereal. I walk out onto the porch where I find my mom in the same spot I left her last night.

"Morning," I say with a yawn as i sit down next to her.

"How was your sleep?" She asks, staring out into the woods.

"Pretty good," I say through bites of my cereal, but it comes out more like, "Pree goou"

I finish eating my breakfast and I stand up, ready to go practice. I help my mom up off the steps and we walk to the cliff. "Do we really have to walk down those crusty stairs again? Or can we levitate down?"

"Yes we can levitate, just be careful. Remember to stay focused."

I concentrate on flearing my mind, and I float down to the rocks we sat on yesterday. I take a seat and wait for my first challange of the day.

"I want you to lift a pebble and sheild that rock again like you did yesterday, but at the same time." It's easier than it sounds. Instead of trying to form your mind as one, you need to break your consentration into two, and make sure to give equal focus into both parts.

It sounds difficult, but soon enough, the pebble is floating and I can no longer see the small rock. I even go the extra mile and levitate a few inches off the rock. I want to make an impression on my mom today so it's garenteed she will teach me how to control water. We're even in the perfect spot for me to learn, right by the river.

"Amazing Aelfrun, but don't work yourself too hard, or you will use your energy up too fast," she says, a little worried.

We work on more exercises to strengthan my abilities for most of the day. About an hour or two before sunset, my mother speaks up, interupting my mediation, sending me down on the rock like yesterday, but today I'm quicker and pull myself back up.

"Good, Darling, I think you are ready to practice hydrokinesis." She smiles at me and I can tell she's proud of me.

"To do this, you need to focus on the moisture in the air, in the ground, or in this case, in the river. There will always be moisture wherever you go, so you can do this anywhere. Focus on bringing the moisture together like bringing your thoughts together to clear your mind."

I close my eyes. I can feel the moisture everywhere now, the power surging through my body. I open my eyes and look up. I have formed an arch above me, and i look down and it's below me as well. I'm floating in a big circle of water. Coolest thing ever.

My mother looks up at me. "You have amazing control, Aelfrun. Let's call it a day. We can work on mind reading and mind control tomorrow."
