BENNY HAD GOTTEN HIS GRANDMOTHER, Evelyn to watch and babysit the kids, Jane was not happy about it.

'thank you so much miss weir' heavenly smiled while handing Evelyn her little brother

'yeah grandma your a lifesaver.' benny informed the elderly woman, she smiles at him 'anytime, dear,' evelyn replied heavenly went along with ethan into the living room evelyn leans into benny and whispers quite loudly 'that's the girl you like right?' heavenly overhears and smiles widely and bounces up and down on her tippy toes and grabs her phone texting Ella about what she overheard. on the other side bennys cheeks heat up from hearing how loudly his grandma said what she said. 'yes that's her.' he whispers to. heavenly stares at her phone wondering why Ella hasn't responded yet when she normally responds instantly.

she shakes it off and stands next to ethan while he trys to convince Jane that Evelyn doesn't 'smell weird'

'she doesn't smell funny' Heavenly assured her smiling, 'yeah, she smells nice. like flowers and..and mothballs.' Ethan said, heavenly couldn't help but let out giggles.

Heavenly goes over and kisses her baby brother on the forehead before they get to leaving, Benny talking to his grandma on the opposite side of her 'if the pizza isn't here in..' he then looks down at his watch. '26 minutes, you do not pay a dime!'

Heavenly rolled her eyes while laughing. 'we'll be back soon don't worry' Heavenly assures the younger girl and her brother her little brother giggling up at her.

'i hate being eight.' Jane huffed,watching the teenagers leave.

'WHAT IS ALL THAT STUFF?' Ethan asked Benny, who had things dropping from his bag while were walking.

'night vision cam and infrared. you can't possibly expect to be investigating the supernatural realm without the proper gear,' Benny smirked.

'mhm totally' Heavenly laughed elbowing Benny while she walks past him

Heavenly glances back and sees Ellas house. no lights on no lamp in Ella's room turned on just completely empty, Heavenly frowns hoping her best friend is okay.

'you okay?' Benny asks her seeing her frown on her face.

"yeah just worried about Ella.' Heavenly tells them.

Benny turned back towards her and grabs her hand 'she's gonna be okay i promise' Heavenly gives his hand a tight squeeze and tight lipped smile and talks to Ethan.

'okay, you said her reflection wasn't all there, right?' Heavenly asks.

'yeah?' Ethan replied trying to figure out what she was getting at.

Benny knew exactly where she was going with this 'here's a thought, what if this is a prank for that stupid dusk movie?' Benny spins around, his head going up and to both sides looking for hidden cameras 'if this is a punk, i knew it all along!'
