Alexander's pov

************************************* BTW ^ he is Alexander
******************************

I raced out of the castle so I could "fulfill" the kings orders. I can't kill my uncle for real he raised me, but nobody knows that. Nobody paid me any attention until I was old enough to train. Even then, nobody cared for me. They just loved my talents.

**Flashback***
"ALEX!!" Screamed my mother in agony. Meanwhile, I was rocking with my knees to my head and my arms around my legs.

With both of my parents getting burned alive, I couldn't move.
I couldn't speak. I could only hear my parents' screams for me to unlock the door and save them. I was only five years old.

Even if I tried, I couldn't. I was too short to reach the door knob. So I sat there right beside the white incombustible room. My whole bedroom was non-flammable while the whole house and my parents were burning to a crisp.

A few hours later, I heard the firetruck pulling and then the men bursting down the front door. I waited to hear my parents' voices but instead a heard Tim saying my name while walking towards my bedroom door the they knocked it down frantically looking for me. They looked shocked to see me alive.

At this point, I wasn't sure I wanted to be alive. I saw a glimpse of the men dragging my parents' burnt bodies out of the house.

**End of Flashback**

** Another flashback begins ( still in Alex's pov) **

I was in custody of an orphanage. " Little sweet grapes." I think it was called. I've been their for two weeks now, but basically, how this works is now since my parents died and I have no other family members. I am the packs child tho whole pack is my mother and father I belong to nobody yet everybody is responsible for me until I turn twenty-one.

Tim came up to me one day right when Antonio, also known as T (aka the future Alpha's little brother), and his crew come up to me and demand the daily fee from me. They call it the daily fee because I have to pay it daily, saying I gave to pay it because I'm an orphan now. I got so mad that I shifted for the first time. The thing is, I'm not supposed to be able to shift for another four years.

I was only five, and they were eight. I blacked out probably from the rage or the fact that my wolf was not fully developed enough to have control. That's why we can't shift until we turn nine until now it was impossible. It's kind of like a baby takes nine months to form. Our wolves take nine years to form. But unlike humans, we don't have premature wolves.

"IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN!!!" From what sounded like down the hall to the right. Details I said in my mind. I must still be in wolf form...so it wasn't a dream. As I woke up, I spotted a tall brown eyed man about 6'8 "in height. I can only imagine how tall he will be in heels....next thing I know, I black out again. All I hear is a man saying, " I got you. I'm going to protect you. I'm the only family you have left, kid. But tell you this, you blacking out is not going to be an everyday thing." he said with I light chuckle that made me want to smile.

But I couldn't move. Just as I had a second attempt, he spoke again, " Listen, kid, I got to go beta business is demanding business but hey I'm your Uncle Tim don't tell a soul, alive, dead, plant, animal, rock, that I'm you Uncle ok mine and your life depends on it. ok, kid?" I tried moving my hand to get up, but it just twitched. To that, he chuckled again very lightly, though, as if it was a faint light in the dark. " I'll take that as a yes! He said while patting my stomach. Somehow, I felt for only a second like I was back at home with mom and dad laughing at Friday's family game days.
