Everything was able to be heard that night, from excited crowds and their dirty way of cheering, to those motor cars, that where placed in a straight perfect order, as if their use, was for a battlefield ready to be held.
A camp, that was none other than an alive cemetery for insane people, waiting for the time of God, to be able to scream the name of their favorite, who was just a human that signed Doom's deal, in exchange for some fame, and without peaking sides, they only saw the pleasure coming from a vehicle, while pressing harder into that pedal.
There were no rules, no laws and no genders, as for what kept that place alive, was the competition itself, written as the number one implementation inside.
And in the end, to reward the life that was held tight during a match, was the price, feeding them to want more.
But not for him, who wasn't searching repayments, but to be the best.
His need was to make that track empty, as if he was not in a competition with others anymore, but with himself instead, to prove that could have everything desired if wanted it.
Even though we all know that good things never last long, same rule that was applied to his intentions.
"Kaius dear, you know that tomorrow you will be performing an operation, right?" words that came out of his friend's mouth for him, while on the other side, was giving a hand for help.
"Your worries, don't work when helping me prepare Dominik." Kai replied without hesitation to his question and also trying to wear his costume. "Plus, can we not talk about work please?" and left an innocent smile, to go and grab his keys not waiting any response from Dominik's side.
He saw his friend leaving and the only thing possible to do, was to sigh at that view in front of him.
Obviously that night wasn't any different from the others, nothing was missing, but on the contrary, that smoke coming from the heated asphalt which was a creation of those tires being rubbed within, got combined with the oxygen, and made that type of air to be inhaled in quantities.
A lot of known and unknown faces could be seen, looking like modest people, that were waiting for their lives to be hung into a cliff, just for wining a meaningless price.
Surprisingly he was the only one not wanting an interaction with everybody else, that was clearly a sign of not wanting one and it didn't make him feel bad for that.
"Kai, please keep it light tonight man." his friend begged him with a hint of worrying into his words.
"Don't worry," he replied while putting on his helmet "I'm certainly not going to harm anyone".
"I don't know why, but my gut is saying otherwise." and after monologuing with himself, Dominik tried to bypass his confession.
Kai got inside his car while also hearing his cheers being held by the public, and was waiting only for the start to be heard. He was a cold person when it came to those who admired him, and their screams only gave adrenaline that made them nothing other than electricity transmitted from the signed road, into his energy dispense.
"Good afternoon my dear racing lovers, are any of you exited tonight?" and this were the announcer's words, that got everyone's attention, into confessing that the race was near its starting peak.
Crowded gangs held their voices higher in response, and suffocating the cars that were letting out their black venom.
"Are you ready for an exciting atmosphere?" all that suspense made by the commentator, brought the need for that start, desperately wanted, while on the other side, it gave more time to those who were betting, a chance to put someone in the list of money maker, and in the list of the dead, in other words, they were playing with fire.
