Montana Blue Lawrence, the beautiful daughter of Johnny Lawrence and Stella Walker not only entered the world with a gentle spirit and a radiant smile, but she captured the presence of those around her.
30 minutes outside of Austin, is the quiet and peaceful ranch of the Lawrences and the Walkers, both of which Montana spent the majority of her childhood, and wouldn't have had it any other way, as she learned the trade of ranching as well as the trade of rodeo.
While her father Johnny and older brother Robby opened a karate dojo in town, the beautiful blonde showed no interest in the sport. Instead, much like her mother and the Walkers, she was drawn to the life of the rodeo, and her horses.
After nursing the wealthy Boston socialite Mrs. Stafford-Smythe back to health, Montana was given the opportunity of a lifetime when Mrs. Stafford Smith offered to put the young Lawrence though medical school.
However, her second year of medical school, Montana's life was forever changed when Johnny passed away, and she never had the chance to say goodbye.
After a heartbroken Montana was given a box with his belongings, including his favorite walkman, she listened to a nostalgic tune, which transported her back in time to the year 1984, and met her father, his friends, his ex-girlfriend, karate rival, and karate sensei.
Along the way, she meets a wise karate mentor, who helped her find a balance in her life, while trying to cope with the intense grief of losing her beloved father.
