He looked sad like a lost puppy.
Garrett: Oh. Did someone already ask you?
Libby: No.
Garrett: What is it??
Libby: I do like you! I just not ready to date especially in high school.
Garrett: I see.
Libby: Yeah. Well, you did amazing tonight! Bye.
Garrett: Bye Libby.
After I left, Garrett was concerned about me.
Garrett: I wish she won't hide love forever.
Back in reality time. I was near at the end of my shift. I work at Kohl's as a Sales Associate. As I was staring at the clock. I was getting nervous to see If I should call Garrett or not. My mind was interrupted when my coworker Alyson was excited to tell me about her Valentine's Day plans.
Alyson: Can that clock spin any faster! I want to be home soon and can't wait for my Valentine surprise!!!!!
I laughed.
Libby: I bet its driving you crazy to know your surprise!!!!
Alyson: You have no idea! I'll I know is he's making a romantic dinner.
Libby: Awwww! Well, aren't you lucky to have a sweet guy like that!
Alyson: Yeah! I'm so grateful of him. So, you still avoiding love. Huh?
When she asked me that. I couldn't help but thinking about Garrett on my mind. I mean yes, I miss the opportunity when I declined him when he asked me to the Valentine's Day dance in our senior year. But I was young and tried to protect myself from pain. Maybe it's not too late to give love a chance.
