He tries. He really does. He stays with them yet he isn't enough. He's tried to make them happy and not scared but its never going to work. It's the new year and he's just gonna hide his emotions the most he can. Hide how he doesn't eat and hide how he's severely dehydrated. Hide the pain and only show the smile and person others want. He'll try and be who you want but it won't ever work will it? You want someone he can't be. Someone who left a long time ago. Someone who's changed and won't change back. He can't give you that but he will still try to change himself for you. You wanna know why? Because he loves you, he can't not love you. You've been there with him for years. And he will never forget how great you used to be to him but you are no longer the old you are the new. He's afraid to admit it but he knows it's the truth. He will still stick with you even if you hate him or think he's useless, and he will try to make you happy even if it hurts him in the process.
