chapter 30 - (contempt)

*gwen took you by the arm and took you into the rusting cabin.*
"sit."
*she spat. the man, who looked about 30, came up to you. he looked at you scared. like he was being forced.*
"killian is going to kill you. so i can become a witch again. i would say this isn't going to hurt, but it is. i want it too."

*he started chanting you didn't know when the pain would start but you assumed it was going to hurt like gwen said. however the witch turned around and snapped gwens neck*

"i'm so sorry. i'm killian. it's aloy... right?"
"y-yes?"
*you look confused*
"why did you snap gwens neck? i thought you were with her"
*he laughed*
"she threatened my family. i'll never be with her. you were right. she is delusional. you can't become a witch again after turning into a vampire"
*he says as he untied you.*

"i'm so sorry that gwen did this to you.... but can you please have mercy on her. shes broken. could you imagine what it's like to lose you magic?"

"i'll have mercy on her. only because you seem nice"
"thank you killian."
*you say walking out of the cabin with gwen around your shoulder. you weren't sure what to do with her. you couldn't just let her run away. she may be your sister. but she tried to kill you. whilst you were deep in thought a car skids into the driveway*

"aloy!"
*elijah calls out from the car. you get in the car as he looks through the rear view mirror*
"who is that?"
"my sister."
"you have a sister? why didn't you tell me?"
*you filled elijah in on what happened. and how killian saved you.*
"i don't know what to do elijah."
"she hasn't got her humanity. right? maybe we should try and turn it back on?"

*elijah asks. you look down at her face. you see how far how gone she is. you know not even you can turn her humanity back on. especially since you left her.*
"i don't think so. i think she hates me."
*your eyes start to water. elijah notices that your words started to break*
"hey. we can try okay?"
