-Bloomsburry London. July 3rd, 1988.
The birds chriped as the sun shined down at the beautiful garden, with a faint sound of angelic singing , there sat a beautiful, young girl. With golden, brown, wavy hair that went past her shoulders by a bit. And a color of green painting her eye.. her pale skin glowing as the sun reflected on it. The sound of sizzling bacon in the kitchen covering the sound of the wind blowing freely. As Morrigan stood up twirling her white nightgown that was made of soft and shiny silk, her hair flying back- "Mori! Come on breakfast is ready" The sound of her mother calling her caught her attention after minutes of yelling, she enters the house quickly and rushes to the kitchen, just to see the table empty, her eyebrows furrowed slightly, then turned her head back to her mother.
"I thought you said breakfast was ready?" Morrigan wailed.
"It is." Elizabeth said, crying back sarcastically.
"Then wheres the breakfast?"
"You'll see food on the table when you help me prepare it."
Morrigan let out a groan before going near the cabinets and taking a big stack of plates, pressing it down on the counter gently, but one small plate caught her eyes, it was grey covered in black polka dots.. The most special plate that she had, it was a gift from her grandmother before she passed away at the age of 78.. She's always admired her grandmothers personality and her gorgeous taste in style. The plate wasnt the only item that she passed on to Morrigan, she had an old jewellery casket that was filled with earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets.. in fact Morrigan was wearing her locket right now. It was golden, with a flower stamped on the oval.. and a picture of Mori's grandmother when she was younger, she tapped her finger on the locket before feeling a hand on her shoulder- Elizabeth.. "Mori! for goodness sake just help me for a second." she snapped, pushing the stack of plates lightly on her chest. "Why do I have to do it?" Said Morrigan "Can't Victor help you instead?"- Elizabeth let out frustrated sigh, turning her head back to Morrigan looking slightly miffed. "Victor already helped buying the bacon! Whats so hard about spreading plates on the table Morrigan?!" She cried out "Just put them on the table." But Morrigan refused, and stormed back to her room, while her mother called out to her repeatedly. She slammed the door loudly and locked it, of course jumping on her bed as if that was going to help, she laid on her back feeling a paw on her hand, her pet cat was laying right at the edge of the bed, while staring at Mori, her long white fur rubbed on Mori's knuckles, startling her- "Gwana! You frightened me.." Morrigan said softly. Her cat unbothered, she tilted her head then let out a small meow. "Sneaky aren't you?" She responded to her, but suddenly got interrupted by a knock on her window. She groaned lazily and approached the window, the baby pink curtains sliding to the sides by her hand, it revealed a boy, Theodore Fox, a sweet yet brave guy who wouldnt stop bringing Mori flowers, his grey eyes shined at her, he couldn't help but fix his dirty blonde, messy hair, with a single rose in his hand. She gasped at the familiar face, and quickly combed her hair with her fingers before pushing up the window. " Theo! What are you doing here?" she whispered. "My father is going to kill you!" But he ignored her and smiled "This reminded me of you." He said, handing her the rose, with a faint color of pink painting his face, as well as Morrigan, her lips widened into a smile, as she took the rose, she planted a kiss on his cheek, "Thank you." She said acting shy. Theo's eyes widened, his cheeks flushing red as he stepped back waving at her almost tripping over a stick. She let out a small chuckle before closing the window, she couldnt help but smile happily, sniffing the flower that was in her palms, she laid on her bed again, thinking about him, her cat rolling her eyes as she observed her reaction.. boring.
