Hey I'm Aurora Rose and I am 16 years old. I'm being abused by my mother and stepfather since I am 6 I still remember my family how much they loved me how much they cared about me but my mother needed to destroy everything and she took me away from them I still hope to this day that they are coming to find me because I can't anymore the physical and mentally pain is slowly becoming to much And only my family can save me now.
Today I woke up with immense pain shooting from my ribs I got up from my 'bed' it was just a mattress but at least I had something.
As I meneaged to go to the bathroom I looked in the mirror and I looked horrible. As I did my business, washed my face and covered my bruises with concealer I returned to my 'room' (the basement) and got ready for the day.
I wore something cute but still something that covered all the bruises and scars from the beatings

I took two painkillers without water and got up to do the breakfast for ma'am and Sir (mother and stepfather) as I finished breakfast I hurried out of the house even if they weren't at home I never know when they return.
As I arrived at school everyone looked at me - oh did I tell you the whole school dislikes me without a reason? - If not here you go as I entered I got to my first class maths I hate maths I need to attend.

I was in Englisch and thought about my family and if they would find me when I was pulled out of my thoughts of my name being said "AURORA ROSE KINGSLEY PLEASE COME TO THE OFFICE I REPEAT AURORA ROSE KINGSLEY PLEASE COME TO THE OFFICE" I excused myself and got up on the way there I thought of what I did wrong.
As I entered the principal's office he looked at me with pity and behind home were two cops. As I sat on the chair ha began to speak "so Aurora I am really sorry to say this to you but your mother and your stepfather got into an accident and died I'm sorry for your loss" to say I was shocked was an understatement but I was happy I was happy that the tormentors of my life are finally gone.
I just nodded my head and asked "what will now happen with me?" The principal was taken aback as he thought I would cry but he composed himself soon after " these two officer's behind me will take you to the station and make a DNA test to look for relatives if they don't find anyone you will go into foster care, I'm sorry " I nodded a soon after we were on the way to the station.
At the station I got the DNA test done an waited. After some hours an officer came to me " so Aurora we found your family your father will be here in some hours if you want you can lie down and take some sleep." I was happy I was so happy to finally see my family again. I just nodded and he showed me to a room with a bed.
As I was drifting to sleep as I thought about all the memories I have with my family. I closed my eyes and let the sleep consume me.
