"How do I look?" Charlotte asked, adjusting her earrings in the mirror in front of her. "God, it's not even my wedding. And I'm a bridesmaid, not the maid of honor!" 

It was Katrine and Andreas' wedding. They were getting married in Barcelona. Everything was perfect—the weather, the venue, the happy couple. They hadn't intended on getting married during the season, but they thought it would be special if their anniversary was also the date of their wedding. 

Laughing, Frenkie said, "You look fine. Stop freaking out. At this rate, people are gonna think you're the bride." He was one of the groomsmen for Andreas, since they had grown close as they played for Barca together. 

She handed him her necklace and said, "Help me with my necklace?" 

He nodded, and moved her hair to one side, leaving her neck exposed. He firmly clasped it around her neck and said, "Can't believe they're finally tying the knot." 

"I know. They've been dating for so long and they already have two kids together. And Alba's going to be the ringbearer. Oh, it's all going to be so amazing." She was referring to how their one year-old daughter would soon be walking down the aisle, giving the ring to her parents.

Just then, Katrine walked in to the powder room in her dress. There was approximately two hours left until the ceremony began— she was doing some finishing touches. 

"I'm gonna go talk to Andreas. Calm his nerves, you know? I'll see you in a bit." He gave Charlotte a casual kiss on the cheek goodbye, and walked up to Katrine. "He's gonna have a heart attack when he sees you. You look amazing." He kissed her on both cheeks and said, "Congratulations again." 

When Katrine and Charlotte were left alone in the room, they both squealed, jumping up and down in excitement. "I can't believe you're getting married. They grow up so fast." Charlotte said jokingly, making Katrine laugh. 

"I can't believe it either." 

Right on time, the other bridesmaids— Iza, Sophia, and Paula walked in. They all shared a group hug and Sophia said, 

"Oh my god. I can't believe this. Our little baby is getting married." 

"I know. There's only one of us left, you know." Paula said, giving her the eye. Charlotte rolled her eyes and said, 

"Oh, please. Might I remind you that I'm the youngest out of the four of us? I'm still only 23." Sophia was engaged, Paula was engaged, Iza was married already, and now, Katrine was getting married. 

"I'm throwing the bouquet to you later. I know I'm not allowed to rig it, but, I'm totally rigging it." Katrine said, making them all laugh. 

"Please. Even if I caught it, there's no one for me to get married to." Charlotte dismissed the idea quickly.

"Who's your date to the wedding, Char?" Izabel asked her, an inquisitive look on her face.

"Frenkie. Frenkie de Jong." Katrine said, a smug look on her face. "He's nice, sweet, good-looking. A steal, if you ask me." 

Rolling her eyes Charlotte said, "He's my date, but as friends. Besides, it's also out of convenience. Frenkie is one of Andreas' groomsmen, so it works out perfectly, you know?"

"Blah, blah. Excuses, excuses." Paula said. "Timo's not a groomsmen, but he's still my date."

"You guys are engaged. It would be weird if you brought someone else that was not Timo as your date." 

"That's not the point!" Sophia said hurriedly. "C'mon, Charlotte." 

"Yeah. I miss the days when we would go on quintuple dates and trips." Katrine said. "Besides, most of us are friends with Frenkie as well, so it would work out perfectly."
