Murder Drones - Swapped AU

Chapter 1

I'ma skip the classroom intro because, I'm not sure what to put there.

Nicholas's Pov

I sat on the bench with bandages wrapped around the left side of my visor and the railgun bedside me on the end of the bench. I sighed heavily.

"Maybe..I need to find the core first before using it." I muttered to myself then I heard footsteps. I lifted my head up to find Victoria walking towards me.

Victoria looked at me with a confused expression on her face. "What the hell happened to you um.." Victoria said trailing off on my name.

"Nicholas. My name is Nicholas." I repeated disappointed. Victoria made a realization face. "Nicholas. Ok. Want to answer my question on what the hell happened to you?" She asked as I looked to the side embarrassed as some lime green dashes appear under my eye indicating they I'm blushing.

"I um..my railgun exploded and broke half of my visor.." I said. "Why do you even have a railgun?" Victoria ask as I pick it up. "I'm going to save the world! By stopping the disassembly drones so we don't have to live behind doors like cowards." I said in excitement then I heard a scoff.

"Like this idiot can even touch a finger on a disassembly drone! Victoria! Why are you hanging out with this nerd come on!" Jayden said walking up towards us and giving me a hatred look. Victoria looked at Jayden and walked up to her as they started to walk away from me with Victoria not looking back.

I sigh in disappointment, but slightly shook it off and grabbed my railgun and head out towards my room.

I set the railgun down and set a timer to 3:00 am and lay down on my bed as my visor turns fully black and enters sleep mode.

The timer beeps as I hit my visor then my green eyes appear as I instantly grab the railgun and put it on my back. Then head over towards Khan's door. I slightly open the door and pulls out the Doors Masters Key.

I walk towards the hallways with icicles frozen on the rooftops. I head over to the screen where you open the doors. I press the Doors Masters Key onto the little screen as I put the Key away.

Once the door I saw Khan standing there with his arms crossed. In result I jumped a bit.

"Holy biscuits!" I exclaimed. "And where might YOU be heading off to?" Khan asked me. "Um..sneaking out with my girlfriend that I definitely have?" I said nervously. Khan laughed then went back to serious mode. "Seriously though."

"Ok ok you caught me. I want to..look at the mechanisms of door one! For a...project in..school?" I said a little more nervous as Khan gave continued giving me a suspicious look.

"I want to join the WDF and hide behind doors while playing cards." I said. "Well..we don't just play cards." Khan said with a smile. Then the door flips open behind him.

"Khan! Can you grab a fresh pack! We play cards so much that the numbers are fading." A drone complained as Khan presses a button and the door slams shut.

"Anyways,.. Nicholas this is great news! Here, I want to give you my first wrench used to build my first door. AND HAD TO PUT DOWN YOUR MOTHER AFTER THOSE DISASSEMBLY DRONES STABBED HER WITH THAT NANITE ACID! I want you to have it." He said giving the wrench to me then the door opened to the workers playing cards as Khan lightly hit my shoulder.

"Guys! My son is into doors!" Khan exclaimed as everyone else cheers. "He's going to head out and check out prototype door 1. Come on Nicholas your destiny awaits!" Khan said as the door opens as snow blows and the cards fly everywhere.

"Oh wow um..I guess I'll be off now. Since this actually worked. Um, go doors!" I said as I walk out then the door slams in front of me. I turned around as snow falls from the sky.

"Can't believe that actually worked!" I said to myself in excitement. "Focus Nicholas, find the last part to your railgun and try not to bump into disassembly drones while your searching." I explained to myself then started to walk.

All there was to look at was destroyed buildings, some skeleton parts, and a few worker drone head that say FATAL ERROR. I looked forward ignoring all the body parts.

Then I see something glowing green under something. I walk over to It and saw a piece of glass over it. I pick it up and I grab the green core.

I examine it for a bit. "This must be for my railgun!" I said. I then noticed that the sky got darker as I gasp and immediately hide.

Then a disassembly drone lands onto a pod and grabs a worker drones head and drinks it then crushes it like an empty can.

Their bulbs and tail were..purple?

Weird.. didn't know that they can be purple to..

Then I look at the piece of glass as the reflection of the disassembly drone turned around and her visor formed into a purple X symbol as I immediately get up and put the core into my railgun.

Then the disassembly drone lands in front of me causing me to drop the railgun as I backflip away.

"Whoa, didn't know I could do that." I said as the disassembly drone flys towards me and stabs me in the foot to keep me in one spot. I then get thrown towards a empty container as the disassembly drone turns around with her own railgun ready as I scurry over to grab mine and aim it at her.

"You made me do this." I said as I pull the trigger as it shoots a big atomic blast. Once it faded the disassembly drone's head wasn't there as I fell on its back. Then a notification shows up on my railgun.

Time until recharge 30:00

I exhale in relief. "Holy hell..Yeah! Eat my words dad!" I said to myself. Then I look over towards the disassembly drone to realize that it was getting  back up and regenerating it's head.

"Oh no no no!" I said in a panic then I grab an arm and get up and smack her with it.

Regenerating....90%....95%.....100% Regenerate complete!

Two purple eyes showed up on her visor this time and looked at me.

"WHOA! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!?"
