{Ash pov:}
"Serena!" I called out into the white veil of the train station. "I'm right here!" I heard her call out to me and I saw her waving with 3 familiar faces. "Clemont! Bonnie! Professor Sycamore!" I yelled. "wait Professor Sycamore!?" I was dumbfounded that the professor was there to greet me. But after all he was the one watching over greninja for me.
They enveloped me in a big huge that I reciprocated. "so what's with all the snow?" I asked the professor. "That's the neat part, we don't know" He replied with a worried look on his face. "I have checked in with 15 seperate meteorologists so far, but none of them have come back with answers" "As of my indipendant research, I believe" Clemont started by a push of his glasses onto his face "That a pokemon caused this!" he declared.
"yeah but then what pokemon or mon's could've caused this?" Bonnie asked. "plus I think that we should get back to the profs' office so we can sort it out." Clemont looked at his sister dumbfounded. "well we should incase the power cuts out" I said. "Yeah don't you have a backup power base incase the main goes out?" Serena asked the professor. "Indeed I do, let us not waste time" Sycamore waved to us to come with him.
When I arrived outside it was cold, VERY COLD. Although I had withstood cold tempratures, this was too much. Thankfully the snow was at our backs. Sycamore brought us to his 6 seater snow clearer. It was a rather large truck with a snow breacher on the front. I had to be helped up from the snow by Clemont into Sycamore's truck.

The five of us stood over a map of kalos and it's effected area's. It had no patterns at all, in low ground there was much more snowfall but on mountains they were almost clear. "as you can see the snow is extremely irregular in it's movements. Lower to sea level is covered in snow but the highest mountains seemed untouched." Sycamore told everybody. "Is there a possibility that a team could've started this?" Ask asked. "No. If it was a team the entirety of the land would be covered by snow. But like I've stated before, the mountains are untouched." "So this is like a mega aurora veil?" Bonnie asked. Everybody in the room looked at her shocked. "I told you!" Clemont stated with his arms crossed. "hmph." "She only made a comparison, Clemont" Serena told him angrily. "You two stop it, this is a large problem!" Ash demanded.
"Well I have some damning evidence for you!" Clemont said confidently. He slammed down his hands and threw down a file containing the ice types. "As you can see!" Clemont started pointing to the ice type photo. "Water and Grass are weak to the ice type however water types are not being frozen now are they? Nor are grass! So! I believe that my original hypothesis is correct but that this pokemon that caused this potentially has a secondary typing!" "Your hypothesis would be correct however pokemon also effect mountains too unless if it is found in mountanious terrain!" Professor Sycamore debunked. "And according to your 'evidence' the pokemon that would live in these mountains that caused every thing below 2000 ft would be covered in snow but the mountain that it lives on isn't? Because ice types are known to live in cold enviorment's yet I don't see any frozen over mountain!"
"guys. what about this?" Bonnie started. "Wouldn't it make sense if the ice type lived on sea level or below it for this range?" "she's right" Ash said. "The times I was in a ice type cave, all of the walls were either covered in ice or snow. But also they were BELOW sea level!" Ash told everybody else. "Not only that it would also explain why the mountains are unaffected because of it's range!" Bonnie said confidently. "So Clemont was right" Serena told Sycamore. "And that's why I love science. The chance to always be debunked from your debunking" Sycamore laughed.
"So now that we have the cause, Lets find out what Pokemon or Pokemon's did this" Ash said. "easier said than done, I have ruled out most of the ice types already, now I'm down to about 10 potential mon's" Sycamore said. "I'm guessing all of them have a possibility of this?" Serena asked. "correct" "who's number 1 on the list?" "Abombasnow" while Serena and Sycamore were talking Ash grew increasingly cold. "Guys is it just be or did the heater get turned off?" Ash asked. Everyone looked at him, shivering. Clemont threw him one of his spare jackets that he had. "thanks Clemont" Ash said. "I'm going to take a look, I'll be back 2 minutes tops" Sycamore said. As he left all of them got worried.
