Her eyes thoughtfully scanned the meadow. Bushes outstretched there thorny branches attempting to claw at the sides of her silky cotton dress. The tips of her fingers tenderly brushed over the edges of a small pink flower. Taking great care she pulled the flower away from its stem. Placing it in a weaved basket by her side. The sun shone brightly in the sky sending its golden rays across her sculpted face. She had freckles scattered lightly across her nose and the purest of browns in her eyes. Loose golden curls were draped on the back of her pale blue dress.

Her phone abruptly buzzed disturbing her ethereal peace. She peered down at the overwhelmingly bright screen. It's read five notifications from father. She promptly gathered her belongings, placing them within the basket among her array of flowers. Curls lifted of her back as she began sprinting towards her father's country house. It was grand with pillars towering up beside the enormous wooden double doors.

She swiftly made her way up a large spiral staircase in pursuit of finding her father. She ran her hand along the white walls that lined a narrow corridor leading towards her room. She placed the palm of her hands up against a pair double doors pushing them open and slipped into her room. Her walls were covered with books everything from Jane Austen to Stephen king. She planted her basket on to the edge of her bed before finally reading what the messages said. Her jaw dropped as her eyes began to well up with tears.
