I froze as I was walking through town having heard my mate screaming. I  growled and took off running, seeing absolute blood red and snarled as I arrived to find Balto  backed into a corner by a bandaged Kaltag, Nikki, Star, Nico, and Doc all trying to take advantage of her. I  growled and launched myself on star and swiftly beat him turning to Kaltag kicking him in his wounded side cause him to collapse in pain. I growled to at the other males and said get out of here now. I smiled as they tucked their Tails and bolted urinating in fear. I frowned and turned to my mate and said, "Are you OK love? I smiled and licked her cheek, comforting her, and smiled as she kissed me and said, "Yes, I'm OK." I smiled and said," Good, I love you  beautiful nuzzling her. I smiled as she blushed and nuzzled me and said I'm pregnant. I smiled as my tail began to wag and said, "You are?"  She nodded and said yup. I smiled and said then let's get you home where you can rest, and Boris and I can take care of you." I smiled and said," So are you ready to go?  She  nodded and said I was only here for you anyway. I smiled as I escorted her out of town towards her  home and froze as Muk and Luk noticed my muzzle was bloody and said What happened why are you bloody?I shifted and said I had to chase off several males and got into a fight. I  smiled as they nodded in approval then said thank you for protecting our cousin. I smiled and said Forget it it's my duty as her mate and the father of her unborn young. I smiled and said now if you'll excuse us, my mate needs to rest."
