Veneer POV
I woke up in Ritz's arms. It felt comfortable, I knew this is where I was supposed to be.
I felt him moving so I knew he was waking up. I turned around and looked over at him. He looked back at me and kissed my cheek.
"Good morning, my love" he said as he smiled.
I blushed at the nickname. I've always loved any sort of romantic pet names like that.
I leaned in and our lips intertwined. I put my hands on his chest and leaned into the kiss. It felt like the world was spinning.
We broke away from the kiss and I nuzzled my head into his neck.
"I love you...." I said to him.
"I love you too" he smiled widely at me.
I love him so much, I could never imagine myself with any other man.
Later that night
I walked downstairs and saw Ritz talking and laughing with Velvet. I went over and sat down next to him. I laid my head on his shoulder.
"What's so funny guys?" I asked, feeling confused.
"Velvet was telling me about the time that you slipped while skating and knocked a old man into a lake." He laughed.
Velvet smirked at me. She loves embarrassing me.
"Hey...that wasn't my fault, some little girl pushed me." I rolled my eyes.
He giggled and kissed me.
Velvet's smirk got even wider. (If that was even possible)
"I'll leave you two alone" she walked out, leaving just me and Ritz.
Kid Ritz POV
I was sitting with Veneer after Velvet left. I looked over at him and leaned in.
He kissed me back and I pulled him on my lap.
I ran my fingers through his hair as I deepened the kiss. I could feel his body against mine. This moment felt perfect.
I broke away from the kiss.
"You know....when you were in jail, I felt like I would never get to see you ever again. It felt like nothing really mattered without you in my arms."
I looked back at him and he was blushing at me.
"Nobody had ever said anything that kind to me.....I really appreciate that...." He said.
I kissed his cheek and he snuggled into my lap.
We spent a little while cuddling until it was time for dinner.
