Elena Kyra Halifax is the second child of Dominic Gomez Halifax, one of the biggest business tycoons in the world. Owning malls, real estate, mines and many more.

People see them as a picturesque family, fancy, posh, and elegant. Her sister Dominique is the golden child of the family while Elena is considered as the black sheep.

Her parents are both physically and mentally abusive towards Elena growing up, while her sister Dominique watches in the corner. Dominique didn't have the power to stop her father.

They endured this for years, especially Elena, that's why she developed some serious mental illness which her parents didn't care about as long as she doesn't tell anyone.

Instead of apologizing or stopping their abuse, they showered Elena with money and luxury, giving Elena some horrible coping mechanism, like alcohol and drugs.

While Elena had a rough upbringing, Diana's situation was different. She grew up with a loving and supporting family, even though they don't have much. The money they had everyday is only enough for their basic necessities to survive the day.

But even though, they are happy and content with their situation. But luck wasn't really on their side. One normal day, Diana was diagnosed with leukemia. Diana was broken when she heard the diagnosis, she couldn't help but question God.

Why?? Why did he give her this kind of illness?? Is she a bad person?? I haven't done anything bad to anyone or everyone so why did she have this kind of illness??

But she never loosed faith in God, she asked God for guidance and trusting in him in her health. Immediately they started working on the treatment, chemotherapy, pills, staying in the hospital and many more ways just to beat this freaking disease.

Her parents worked three jobs and just to finance her medical bills, and it's a good things they have health insurance, that lessen their expenses.

After two years and a half, Diana was great full with the second chance of life God gave her. That's why she decided to devote her time helping other.

That's why she went back to school to became a nurse and after a few years, she is now a registered nurse.

One faithful night, Diana and Elena's path crossed in a very unconventional way.

Diana was in a nightshift when the medical rescue team bust through the ER with an unconscious woman in their gurny.

Elena was in a car crash, good thing it's nothing too serious, just a couple bruises and scratch along with a mild concussion.

Diana tend Elena's injury, and as soon as Elena saw Diana, it was love at first sight. She couldn't help but stare in awe at Diana's innocent and pure face.

Diana tend her wound with outmost gentle way which is new to her. After that, when Diana was released from the hospital, she didn't waste any time and asked Diana out.

Diana was also drawn to towards Elena, there is something about her that she can't help but feel butterflies in her stomach. When Elena asked her out, she was head over heels with joy.

After their first date, it led to a couple more dates, and on their 5th date, that is when they made their relationship special.

Elena decided to change her ways to become a better person for Diana. Which is very hard at first, Elena was struggling to not drink and do drugs, but thankfully Diana was there to help her.

While their love is blooming, Elena's parents found out about them, they tried breaking up the couple, that is why Elena found the courage to finally stand up against her parents to protect Diana. She cut off her family from her life and started with her own business.
