6. Birthday & New Friend

Daniel sighed as he walked off. He was a bit annoyed and at this point just wanted to be left alone.
He headed towards his classroom and then sat down at his table. He took out a pack of blood and started drinking it as he was starving. What Daniel didn't notice was that a fellow person was watching him.

A fellow blond person who had their eyes covered by their hair was watching Daniel. The same person who tried helping Daniel during the fight between him and Zack, Jay.

Though Jay wasn't the type to be interested in people, Daniel was an exception. For some reason, Daniel just seemed interested to Jay. Jay wants to become friends with Daniel, just that he doesn't know how.. especially when he's mute.

"A get-together hangout?"

Daniel questioned, Jay looked up and saw the 3 men that hang out around Zack. He got suspicious about these 3.

"Yeah, it's an apology for Zacks's behavior from before."

"Yes! Please accept our hangout!"

Daniel thought this was very suspicious, he didn't like this one but. Especially when he knew these 3 bullied and took a nude picture of the chaser from the convenience store.

"I reject your invitation.."

Daniel responded, not even looking at them at all. The 3 got a little angry but stayed calm.

"Please! It's also the start of the first semester, it'll be fun!"

The 3 of them continued to beg Daniel to come to this hangout, but all they caused was annoyance to Daniel.
At this point, Daniel was not receiving time alone at all like he wanted. He hated this.

"I said no. And that's my final answer!"

He semi-yelled at them, surprising the 3 a bit. Jay was also shocked by what he saw but soon calmed down.

Days gone by, luckily not much has been going on lately, except for Vasco still being suspicious about Daniel.

Though as days have gone by, it's been getting closer to Daniels's birthday. This year he would most likely spend his birthday alone, which he didn't mind. Just meant some more peace.

It was the end of the school day, and Daniel received a phone call. From his mother, he answered the phone and then started talking to his mother.

"Oh, that's right my birthday is tomorrow.."

Daniel said, but who would have known that some blondie had the audacity to ears drop. Jay, who took an interest in Daniel was ears-dropping. Knowing that his birthday is tomorrow, this would be a great opportunity to possibly befriend Daniel by giving him a gift.

Jay smiled once he had figured out a way to befriend Daniel.

It was the next day, that Daniel was walking back from school. As he continued walking he saw a familiar face on the way. It was Jay. Daniel stopped in his tracks as he faced Jay.

"Hm?"

Daniel looked at him, confused about why he was just standing there. Jay had a rather big bag with him, he took it off his shoulder and handed it to Daniel.

"For Me?"

Daniel asked, confused about why Jay was giving him such a big bag. Daniel looked at him suspiciously.  Jay nodded his head once Daniel asked, Daniel looked at the bag, and soon sound a note that said 'Happy Birthday'

Did Jay possibly know it was Daniel's birthday today? If so how did he know, did he eardrop in the conversation he had with his mother..

"How did you know it was my birthday?"

Daniel asked as he took the bag from Jay, he then decided to look at what was in the bag and saw very expensive clothing and other essential things.

"Ah!? I'm sorry, but I can't accept this. These are very expensive.."

Daniel said as he then handed the bag back to Jay. Jay shook his head no in response, letting him know that it was alright for him to keep it.

"No, I can't have this. It's too much, plus I barely know you. Why are you even giving me such a gift!?"

Daniel asked, a bit curious about why Jay was giving him such an expensive gift to Daniel.

"You wanna become friends with me?.."

Daniel looked at him confused, who in the world would anyone give someone such an expensive gift just so they could become friends? I guess Jay did.

Daniel sighed.

"You could of possibly just told me you wanted to become friends with me. I honestly wouldn't mind since you don't seem the type to cause many problems."

Daniel explained, Jay got a bit embarrassed but still 'told' Daniel to keep it. Which of course Daniel declined again, saying it was too much for him to accept.

Jay continued to bug Daniel to keep the gift. 'Telling' him it would mean a whole lot if he accepted. Daniel did get a bit annoyed, but after so much begging Daniel sighed and finally accepted it. Jay of course got very happy about hearing this.

They both said their goodbyes, as Daniel continued to walk he was soon stopped by more bags on the ground. Every bag had a note attached saying 'Happy Birthday.' Daniel immediately knew this was from Jay...

Yes, another post! I had some motivation to write another chapter! I had quite fun writing this chapter, mainly because of just Jay being Jay towards Daniel.. not sure if that makes sense.
