When Masato had gotten to the hospital he saw that there were four males in the waiting room, but didn't acknowledge them as he went to the secretary. "Excuse me, Is Harawa Rei here? I'm her soul mate and I want to be sure she's okay."

"You're her soul mate huh? The males that are behind you said the same thing, how can I be so sure you're tellin' me the truth?" The secretary asked

Masato placed Rei's bag on the counter taking her wallet out of it as well as the plush of him that was in it. "Is this proof enough?"

The secretary was stunned he actually had proof, she leaned against the counter and sighed out. "She's in rough condition kid, she isn't awake. The damage done to her eye severely messed with her brain functions. As it is it'd be a miracle if the kid even wakes up let alone sees out of that eye that was pierced."

"Is there anything that can be done to help her out?"

"As of now? Not really-not to my knowledge but I can let the doctor know about you and have them talk to you privately about what they think you can do to help out if you can."

Masato thanked the secretary and placed the wallet and plush back before he sat down away from the males. The more he looked at the four males the more it made him wonder if the males were actually Rei's siblings trying to fake out being him just to kill her or harm her. But he kept to himself, he didn't want to cause a scene. He wanted to keep Rei protected from anything that could harm her. Especially since he had been so cold to her when they first met, she had every right not to answer his concerning questions. He didn't have the right to be so concerned for her when he obviously didn't care for her as much as a soul mate should.

It was ten minutes before a female doctor went up to him with her arms crossed. "You're Miss Harawa's soul mate?"

"Yes ma'am." Masato said with a nod of his head

"Come with me please."

He got up and followed the elder female to the room where Rei was lying down hooked up to machines to keep her alive. "I wasn't given every detail as to what happened to her, so I can't really tell you how you can help the poor girl."

"I was there for all of it, I can tell you."

"Very well, I'll listen."

Masato told the doctor what happened since the first moment he met up with Rei up until she was assaulted by the elder female with her heeled shoe. Hearing what she had, the doctor let out a sigh and shut her eyes. "I was afraid it had to do with soul mate rejection...you rejecting her has made her mind unresponsive. she had every right to call you what she had, I can assure you that once you're able to accept Miss Harawa as she is, you'll be able to help her get back onto her feet once more. She may end up needing glasses due to the damage done to her but other than that I don't know what can be done for her."

"I just met her today...I don't know anything about her."

"Well then, I guess it sucks to be you. Until you can grasp what type of woman you were set up to be with for life, I'd like to ask you to leave and don't return until you do." The doctor said before she walked off

Masato was in thought as he looked at the woman that was passed out in the hospital room, he knew he'd have to figure something out to make things better. But he didn't know what, he didn't know if she had any friends or if anyone even spoke to her in the academy. Which made him wonder why he didn't try to speak up or reach out to her sooner? He got her wallet out and saw the address on it for where she lived. He placed it within his phone and left out without a word.

He was going to find out how to get Rei to wake up and he was going to do it his own way. When he got to the apartment that she lived in, he went into her bag to find her keys before he opened the door. As he entered the smell of ocean breeze came to him which made him curious about what type of woman was he soul mated to be with. He looked around the apartment and didn't find anything of personal use that would stand out to him, that was until he found her bed room.

He opened the door, only to see that it was a rather modern small size bed room with nothing personalized about it other than the book shelf on the side of the room. He looked on the book shelf to see the many CD's for STARISH on it as well as a light stick on it. He turned it on only for it to turn dark blue-his color.

"So...she knew who I was even before I introduced myself. Why did she tell me what she did then? What made her be so afraid of being around me?" He muttered to himself as he turned the glow stick off and placed it back

He looked around the room once more only to see a journal that was already opened on her desk. He read what was written curious about the thoughts that went through Rei's mind.

|...Its now official that I'm twenty-one, I have found out that the male I have looked up to in A class is actually my soul mate. The many times I've supported him and his group has paid off. But I know I won't be able to be his soul mate for long, I know once I see him he'll want to break the connection between us just because he doesn't believe in the soul mate connection that the government has placed together. When that rejection happens it'll do more than break my heart.

It'll break my mind as well.

I know that I'm not beautiful like other woman, I know that I'm not talented either. But the hope of ever having a loving soul mate who'd love me for me isn't ever going to happen. My brothers were right that I'll never ever be able to be loved. When it comes time for my break down, for the time that I become so mentally unstable that I become unstable it'll be the last of me. He'll never accept me, I know he won't.

why would anyone want someone who is broken like me?

I've already been used so many times...maybe one day all the pain I feel will go away. Until then...Happy birthday self. Here's to another year of pain and suffering alone.|

Reading that she looked up to him, that she would beat herself down so much...it made things more surreal for him. He realized then what he had done to the poor woman he barely knew. He chose to sit down in her desk chair and read her entire journal. He wanted to know her thoughts and feelings, he wanted to be sure that he could do whatever he could to make sure that he could love her properly and keep her from ever second guessing herself or him.

By night time Masato had finished reading her journal and knew just what she had gone through, he placed everything back how it was before he just took the keys, wallet and plush with him. He was going to wake up his soul mate one way or another.
