Montana woke up to the loud ringing of the alarm beside the bed. Reaching over to the bedside table, she turned off the alarm, and glanced at the date which read, September 2nd, 1984. She was most definitely not dreaming, and she didn't know why she was sent back to the 80s, but she wanted to figure it out. If only she had a doc like Dr. Emmett Brown, or a wizard like Rumplestiltskin to help her, but she would have to figure this one out on her own.

Walking over to the bathroom, she brushed her teeth, with what she assumed was her toothbrush, brushed her hair, and walked back into the bedroom to pick out her bathing suit for the beach. After deciding on a light pink one piece, a matching headband, and white flip flops, she walked into the bathroom and grabbed a towel.

After leaving a note for Roni who was asleep from working the nightshift, she walked out the door, locking it behind her. As she walked down the stairs, she was greeted by Freddy and Daniel. "Hey Montana, you ready to go?" Daniel asked

Montana smiled and nodded in reply as they got in, and Freddy stepped on the gas speeding away. The car ride was rather fun, with the three blasting music such as Duran Duran and Toto, while joking around.

Freddy pulled into the beach parking lot, and the blonde turned her head, and saw the beach was packed with kids from The Valley. Freddy wasn't lying when he said it was an adios summer party. After putting his car in park, the three got out, and walked down to the beach. Daniel and Freddy went to go play soccer with other boys from reseda, while Montana spread out her beach towel, and sat down.

A little while later, Montana was watching the waves, when she could have sworn she saw an apparition of her father practicing karate, she had to blink and make sure it wasn't real. Of course it wasn't, her mind was playing tricks on her. Grief is a tricky thing, isn't it?

Wiping her tears, she clasped on to the pendant he gave to her before she left for med school. Wait, the pendant? It made the trip to the 80s? Of course. She remembers an episode of Once Upon a Time when Neal had a pendant he gave to Emma, surviving a trip back to the enchanted forest. Again, not the same scenario, but it was a gift given out of love. Johnny's gift was given to Montana out of parental love, so in a way, it's the same.

As Montana continued to collect her thoughts, and continued to watch the waves, she felt someone gently tap her shoulder. "Excuse me?" a feminine voice said

Montana looked up and saw a beautiful girl with thick, shoulder length, curly blonde hair and hazel eyes and a warm smile. "Oh, hello, I'm sorry I didn't see you there." Montana smiled

"It's alright, I hope I didn't startle you, if I did, I didn't mean to." the shorter blonde warmly smiled

Montana warmly smiled in reply. "Oh, no you didn't, don't even worry about that."

The shorter blonde sat down next to her, then asked, "Are you here all by yourself?"

"Well, my friends are actually playing soccer with a group of boys. I just wanted to sit and watch the waves." Montana said
