The Grinch who stole my Sanity

Trauma

Last week on Christmas at approximately 16:00 hours the police department got a call about a noise disturbance at a warehouse out by the docks. They responded at approximately 1800 hours and arrived to hear pounding coming from inside the warehouse and unintelligible voices coming from just beyond the door. When they knocked on the door they heard someone start screaming for help and pounding fervently on the door.
They forced their way inside to see a young girl wearing nothing but a tree skirt. When they opened the door though she screamed and ran further inside the warehouse. They persued to find the girl hiding behind a Christmas tree in the corner, the rest of the warehouse was very empty.
The officers tried to convince her to come out, and she suddenly flew out, lunging at the closest officer and biting his outstretched arm. The other officer then shot her with a tazer gun and she passed out and hit the floor like a brick.
When the ambulence arrived, they could not get the girl to wake up. There were lacerations, scars and bruises of all sizes and shapes covering over 50 percent of her body. She was immediately taken to the hospital where she now remains a week later still unconscious. She was identified as 16 year old Luminescence Evergreen , and haven't been seen in over 3 weeks till then.

Across the bay from the warehouse a couple drove a semi truck away from the bay and onto the highway, satisfied that this years Christmas work was done. One was wearing a Grinch costume and the other a Santa costume with a plastic Santa mask.
"So", said the one in the Grinch costume "Where to for Valentine's day?" " Well, I hear that Los angeles is a romantic city this time of year" replied the one in the Santa suit and mask. " yeah said the grinch,"but we did California for cinco de mayo last year, I'm still a little bored of california." "Okay "replied the Santa, I suppose it's your turn to pick the location this time anyway she took off her mask and smiled. The Grinch took off his mask too and leaned in close. " Merry Christmas Santa, "he said as he came in for a kiss. " or should I say happy Valentine's day.

Okay yes this is the first chapter and it's super short, but don't think that all them will be this short it was necessary for background and prologue.
I promise every other chapter will definitely be longer than this one.
I had to get the boring stuff out of the way first
