Sonu's POV

Day passed. Time of Mahi's departure came. I heve already packed his bags with every essential things. In the very day I companied him till airport. Yuvi bhai and Chiku also came. They talked between themselves about official matters. Them Mahi came to me to say goodbye.

'Don't worry Sonu, I'll call you everyday. Take your food in time and any problem if occurred call Yuvi bhai ok ? I have told Chiku to visit you sometimes. Don't allow strangers inside and don't forget to lock the door early in the night and...'

'Arey stop Mahi! It seems like you have more tension for me than mine'

'I really have for my house's treasure' he smiled.

'Flirty puckish' I pinched his belly hiding from Yuvi bhai and Chiku.

'Go safely. Happy journey'

'Bye Sonu'

'Bye Mahi'

From that day I'm feeling myself half. Can't focus on office work or household work. Can't sleep till late night, feel some kind of emptiness. He calls me every evening but due to some international calling guidelines we couldn't talk for more than five minutes. That five minutes give me heavenly circumstances.

I am surprised to think how a complete stranger long hairy person became such close to me! He not only does good to me but adored me in his house like his own relative. Why he did it ? I was also a stranger to him, then ?

And me! Am I only greatful for his mercy or something else I'm carrying in mind for him ? Why I lose myself in his long silky hairs, his cool eyes and his calm nature ?

'Puckish man! Trapped me in his flattery' l said in my mind.

One day at morning I was cutting veggies in kitchen as the maid didn't come. Then suddenly a thought hit my mind;

Am I in love with him ?

Uhff such an awkward thought. He's a man and I'm not gay.

Then I thought again; so what ? Love could be occur for anyone. There is a word like 'Platonic'.

At that very time the doorbell rang🔔

I opened the door and saw Priyanka madam! Standing with dry face, eye bags.

I didn't waste time to move from the door to let her in. But why did she come ? Mahi isn't here and he told that she will not come again. I stood aside the door putting down my head.

'Sorry for coming here but I came under compulsion'

I said nothing. I had no intention to talk to her. But her voice was little soft that day.

'Actually Mahi isn't receiving my phone. From some days his phone is switched off. I was worried... so... can you please ask him to meet me once ?' She asked.

'Mahi isn't here. Even not in India. He flew to Thailand for business issues that's why his number is off'

I said Mahi intentionally because he himself convinced me to call him Mahi in that very night when we were engaged in pillow fight. I thought Priyanka will be angry to hear Mahi from my mouth but she wasn't.

'Oh... he didn't inform me about this. When will he be back ?'

'Next week'

'Ok. Sorry again for coming in your house'

'Why are you sorry for coming ? And it's Mahi's house not mine' I said and her face became a little rude.

'Stop pretending like innocent. I know everything'

'What do you mean ?' I also replied in rude voice.

'Because of you Mahi forbade me to come in this house'. She started to weep.

'What ? Mahi forbade you ? But I don't know anything about it believe me or not'

'He did.... and of course because of you'

'I wasn't aware about it. Madam please don't cry, if you don't mind... we can talk inside. Here the neighbours are watching'

She didn't behave rude again, but told me everything what happened that day. When she driven me out of the house Mahi was very angry on her. He scolded her a lot and forbade her from coming in this house. From that day Mahi even reduced talking with her. And from his departure, they are totally disconnected.

I felt sad for her. Really, because of me Mahi did this. But her brusque behaviour was also responsible. Slowly slowly she realised and believed that I'm really unaware about these. She even apologized to me too.

Before going back she told me to call her 'didi'.
