During the entire ride,Sakura kept her eyes closed as her mind drifted to the night her parent figure left her. Karin sat infront of her,staring blankly outside the window as Ino and Tsunade talked about various matters.
Naruto and Shikamaru were on their horses.

"I wonder what summit will show us this time. We've already been through great losses few years back,it'll be too overwhelming to-" Ino was cut off but a panicked Sakura. "Shut up Ino! Don't day things like that!" She said breathing heavily. All for everyone around her give her a sympathetic look.

The last summit not only took away the Emperor and Empress of Leaf and Whirlpool Empire but also took away Shikamaru's Master,Princess Hinata's uncle and Empress Tsunade's dear friend(whom she gained feelings for).

The summit made a great loss to many,and all because of one bastard.
Naruto kept thinking of the way he'd kill Danzō if it wasn't for Sasuke who wants to kill him.

Tsunade POV

I sighed as i saw Sakura breathing heavily. It hurts seeing her like this knowing how much my cousin Kushina meant to her. Sakura has been my all rounder student in medicine but she has been pampered by late Kushina and her late husband alot too. Now to see her in this condition really hurts me.

I look out as i realise that we're almost at Leaf. I guess when some shit happens to you you lose the track of time.
"We're almost there." I announce as i see the others starting to fix themselves and Sakura calming herself.

I stepped out of carriage as Sasuke stood infront welcoming. He took my hand into his and kissed the knuckles to show respect.
"Welcome to the Leaf empire,My lady." He said as he let my hand go.
"Thank you,Sasuke. It's been a while." I said,noticing him glancing behind me for a quick second.
"It sure has been. The last time it wasn't pleasant,but i guarantee it won't be like that again." Sasuke said.

I turned my head a little to find Sakura looking down,her hair refraining me from seeing the emotion displaying. But i took a hint and realised Sasuke glanced at her.
I quickly turned my head back ahead.
"I hope so."

Sakura POV

Sasuke kissed Lady Tsunade's knuckles. As much as it shouldn't do a thing to me,i was quite bothered by it. But it all went away when i happen to lock eyes with him for a rapid second. Although it was less than a second it made my skin tingle,as if his glance was enough to make me feel his touch. But i quickly jotted my head down to create a barrier from anyone to see my face. Unfortunately,i realised that Lady Tsunade's realised what just happen. And fortunately,she was compassionate enough to act like it was nothing. Which it was. It really was nothing. But for me and the tension i have with him going on for past years it was already enough after that night.
