4 The bookstore pt.1

Zaina POV

Arya said he would take me out today as a thank you for letting him and his annoying ass brother stay with me.

I woke up at 1 as it was a Sunday. I brushed my teeth and checked my phone. I saw one message from someone saying,
"Be ready by 2. I'll pick you up."

I was about to reply when another message came in. I guessed that it was probably Arya but I wanted to confirm.

"And don't worry about leaving that idiot Vihaan alone. I don't even think he'll notice you're gone."

Yeah definitely Arya.

"Well ok I guess. Where are we going though?" I said.

"I can't tell you that. It's a surprise." He said.

"How the hell will I know what to wear then?" I said, rolling my eyes even though he couldn't really see me.

"Wear something comfortable and casual." He said.

What on earth is that supposed to mean? I went through my shelf trying to find something and ended up practically turning my room into a war zone.

I turned to look at the time and it was 1 30 already. I grabbed the first thing I saw.

I ran to the washroom and started to get ready.

Ten minutes later, I heard a knock on my room door. I checked the time and it was only 1 45. He couldn't have come early could he?

I opened the door to see Vihaan. Ugh.

"What?" I asked him.

"Are you going somewhere?" He said.

Why does he care.

"Yes. I am." I said.

"And you didn't think to tell me? Considering I'm staying here?" He said.

"No I didn't feel the need to tell you as you barely acknowledge my existence. So no I didn't think to tell you." I said back at him.

"I'm not letting you leave." He said.

The audacity. I swear I will kill him some day.

"Excuse me? You have no right to jail me in MY own house." I said to him, Pointing a finger in his face.

THIS GUY HAD THE GUTS TO SMIRK AT ME AND SAY,
"It's our house now darling."

"Oh you are so dead." I said and started chasing him all the way to his room. Until he locked himself in.

"You'll never catch me darling." He said.

"Haww you'll come out sooner or later. I'll kill you then." I said.

Right then the bell rang. I checked my phone and it was 2. Literally exactly 2:00. Why is this guy so punctual.

I ran to the door after quickly checking myself in the mirror.

"Hi!! You're just in time." I said.

"You're going out with him?" Vihaan said coming out of his room.
