Sarada's heart raced as she stumbled forward, her eyes widening at the sight of her father sprawled on the living room floor. Panic surged through her, and she immediately dropped her school bag, the contents spilling out.
"Papa!" she screamed, rushing to Sasuke's side. She knelt down, her hands trembling as she tried to shake him awake. "Papa!" she screamed again, her breath shaky, and her vision blurring from hyperventilation.
"I need to find Mom," Sarada thought. She lifted him onto the couch and raced to the hospital.
"Mama!" she shouted. Sakura was wearing a surgical mask and scrubs when she saw her daughter run frantically through the sliding doors of the hospital.
"Sarada," she said, surprised.
"Something is wrong with Dad," Sarada yelled, her voice quivering from panic and desperation.
Sakura gasped, "Sasuke." She grabbed Sarada by the shoulders and shook her. "What happened, Sarada?"
"I-I don't know," Sarada stammered, her voice shaky. "I just opened the door, and found him passed out on the ground."
