I was driving listening to Mariah the scientist on my way to school

I'm in school to get my bachelors degree in interior designing since I loved to decorate and put things in place

I went to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro NC

I'm 20 and I'm already doing good in life , I have my own luxury apartment and car

I was the only child which was sometimes lonely as a child but I soon found peace in being alone

But I was completely alone I had my best friend impress and she was also enrolled in A&T

Only difference is she was to be a nurse which I support her 100 percent and vice versa

I pulled into a parking spot and made my way towards class

I only had 3 classes today and then we was off for 2 weeks I don't know why but honestly I wasn't complaining

I heard my name before I walked into class making me turn my head and seeing my best friend impress

"Shanti wait up" she said jogging up to me

"Hey boo what's up"

"Nothing much look at you all cute and shit I see you"

"Girl bye this ain't nothing look at you tho"

It was true my outfit consisted of 1995 brown tee with blue jeans paired with my Jordan 4's Retro cool greys

On the other hand impress outfit consisted of a greenish yellowish off the shoulder crop top blue jeans and some cocaines

"Is my ass getting fat friend?" She asked me doing a 360

I chuckled at her

"Yes friend it is what's the move for today tho ?"

" I heard there's a block party tonight at 10 if you tryna to go"

"Fasho just text me the address and shit"

"Okay love you boo"

"Love you more"

We hugged and said our goodbyes and I walked into class sitting at my seat preparing myself for today

-After School-

I was in my car rapping to Homeboy by Rob49 when I got a call from my mommy

I answered and rolled up my windows to hear her better

"Hi mommy"

"Hi baby how are you"

"I'm fine mommy what about you"

"I'm surviving when are you going to come see me it's been years"

I rolled my eyes at her dramatics

"Mommy it's been 1 month I'll come see you this weekend"

"1 month is very long for a mother but how's school"

"School is great I'm so ready to be done though"

"It's going to be worth it just thug it out"

"Period"

"So any new boys?"

"Mama it's f them niggas for life"

"I said the same thing and ended up with you"

"The disrespect but you love me so it don't matter"

"Now who said that , I'm kidding baby"

"Mama let me hold some money"

"Chile no you grown get a job or some"

"I did have a job i do hair and nails now so don't play"

"Oh ok period big ballin what yall say now mhwa no bars"

"Mama don't ever say that again" I laughed at her she wanna be so young with her ancient ass

"Child I say what I want I'm young and turnt"

"Mama get off my phone I love you"

"I love you more be safe"

With that she hung up and I went back to my bae rob

Once I got to my apartment I parked my car underground and got on the elevator up to my house

I got off and waved to the old white women who is always walking around the halls

I unlocked my door and threw my bag and keys on the counter kicking off my shoes and walking upstairs

Once I made it to my room I took off my clothes leaving me in my undergarments and got underneath the covers and let sleep take over me
